"You're sure about this?" Okami asked, holding Murasame down on the desk.
"Yes, but I'd like to keep a small shard of it, destroy the rest." Akame responded. "Goodbye Murasame." She added, looking down at the Teigu.

Shobu placed the small item atop the mound of dirt, kissing his fingers before patting the last of the dirt down.
"I'll see you around, Leone." He mumbled, fighting back his tears as he stood up, turning around.
"Let's go." He said, Esdeath, who was calmly waiting for him at the foot of the hill, listening, following him as he walked off.

The Emperor waited patiently in his cell, a clacking noise going off, and turned to see Najenda and some other Generals opening his cell door.
"Is it time for my beheading?" He asked, getting a nod in response.
He smiled. "I was a failure as an Emperor, but I guess I can do my one last job properly. If I cry now, I'll go down as a laughingstock for sure. I'll at least die with my head held high until the end." He stated.
The Emperor was executed before the masses, he was the polar opposite of the Minister, staying composed until the very end.

Okami sighed as he sat back in his chair.
"What's wrong?" Seryu asked, sitting into his lap, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
He smiled. "It's nothing, it's Shobu, he's still upset." He responded, burying his face into her neck.
"Mm, still, it was nice of Najenda to help you out." She mumbled.
"Yeah."
Okami was able to stay Commander in Chief, Seryu moving in with him as the two finally confessed their feelings for each other, courtesy of Shobu helping Okami confess, helping to set up a nice candlelight dinner for the two of them.
One small pro to being Commander in Chief for the new Empire, is that he knows practically every one of the soldiers the Empire has, and can help keep it clean.
Najenda had assured to everyone that Okami was trustworthy, and they listened on account of the fact he had been part of the reason Esdeath was defeated.

Tatsumi waited patiently on the hill next to the Sakura tree as someone wheeled Mine up on her wheelchair, before walking off.
"Mine, I'm back." He mumbled.
He leaned down, gently hugging the back of the wheelchair, careful not to hurt her. "From now on, I'll be with you."
"...Tatsumi?"
Tatsumi's eyes widened as he leaned his head back, Mine's eyes wide as she looked up at him.
Tears started to roll down her cheeks as she jumped up, hugging his head as she cried happily, before she started hitting him a bunch. "You stupid idiot! Why do you have to push yourself so hard!" She shouted out, blushing red as she repeatedly bonked his chest.
They'd soon after retired, moving to the far reaches of the Region to peacefully recover from the damage they'd sustained, both physical and psychological.
And thanks to the money Tatsumi had earned, he was able to help out his village, eventually going back there as a dragon to see them, and explain everything that happened.
It was safe to say the commotion he created was quite large, having turned into a dragon and all.
