"I want to know as well." Shobu stated, watching as Tatsumi followed a doctor into the tent, Najenda about to go in as well before he stopped her.

She glanced back at him, but shook her head. "No, the chances of whatever news we're about to get is bad is high, I don't want everybody to freak out when we're supposed to be relaxing."

He glared at her. "Ask Tatsumi then, I promise not to tell a soul."

Her gaze faltered somewhat, before she sighed. "Fine."

She walked into the tent, and after a moment she came back out, gesturing for him to follow her inside.

He did so, watching as the doctor pulled on some gloves, resembling the Teigu that a certain Doctor once had.

Tatsumi laid down on the bed in the tent, Shobu leaning against the frame of the bed while Najenda sat in a chair, already preparing for the worst.

The doctor got to work, examining him as information entered his brain. "I see."

He took a step back, raising a hand up to his chin. "You certainly have integrated together by a margin, kid. You're being consumed by your armour, or more like fused with it. You're becoming Incursio, you're becoming the body of a Dragon." He announced seriously.

"What?"

"It may seem like you've powered up, but it's anything but, put another way, you're losing your humanity. But it did make you strong against the poison, so at the very least it did save your life in this instance." He further explained.

"So for Tatsumi, Incursio is starting to be a threat to his life?" Shobu questioned, frowning.

"But Bulat used Incursio countless dozens of tim-"

The doctor quickly cut Najenda off. "That's because he used it properly. I understand this latest battle was different. You forced Incursio above and beyond in your fight against the two strongest, didn't you?" He asked.

"I said I'd endure any pain necessary, if it just gave me the strength." Tatsumi responded.

"And this is the price you pay. It makes the user stronger, but also rushes them to ruin." The doctor informed. "If you continued your training and got stronger, maybe ten years or so, you'd be able to use it the way Bulat did."

"We don't have that time right now." Shobu mumbled.

"If the transformation continues, what then?" Najenda asked.

"He'll either be completely consumed by an Incursio that had evolved down a dangerous path, or his body wont be able to handle it and he'll die, either way, it's certain death. Signs of that are already present in your eye." The doctor pointed out.

Truth be told, Tatsumi normally green eyes, instead had a red cross through one of them.

"If I had to guess, three or four times are his limit, with the body he has now."

...

The three of them watched as the doctor was flown away on an Air Manta, Tatsumi gripping his fists as he thought about what they learned.

"Tatsumi, is this enough for you?" Shobu asked, glancing over at him.

Tatsumi nodded. "I can still use it four more times, that's more than enough, when the final stand-off comes, I'll be ready." He stated, determined.

Shobu smiled, walking over to the smaller man and ruffling his hair. "You've grown, Bulat would be more than proud of you."

Tatsumi moved his head, grumbling something, before glancing back at Shobu, who had a big smile on.
