"Graaaah!" Shobu shouted as he launched forward, swiping a hand out at Leone, who dodged back, smirking.

He's gotten faster, she quickly noticed, Shobu not letting up his assault as he continued to jump at her, swiping, punching, or kicking in an attempt to harm her.

The two had taken up to sparring, considering Tatsumi had suggested it, Akame was to help him with his sword training, and Leone was to help Shobu with his hand to hand.

Leone smiled, before jumping forward, throwing out her own punch, noting that Shobu was slightly off balance.

Shobu flicked a hand upward, pointing to the sky, and before her punch could hit him, a black crystal sprouted from the ground, pushing him up as he jumped off it.

Leone's fist slammed into the crystal, and she cringed.

That hurts, she noticed.

Even if the small pillar had cracked upon collision, it's actual toughness was something else, some blood spurting out of her knuckles being proof of this.

"You're distracted!" Shobu shouted.

Leone gasped, looking up to see him falling from the sky, making a motion with both hands.

Many crystal pillars shot up from the ground, all in random places, but all around Leone.

He quickly jumped off the nearest pillar, jumping around at blurry speeds as he continued the process with many of the other pillars.

"Heh, two can play that game." Leone chuckled, jumping out to the nearest pillar.

It shattered before she even reached it.

"What?"

She had no time to think about the matter as Shobu suddenly slammed into her back, having tackled her using his high speeds.

The two rolled and toppled along the ground, Shobu letting out a grin when he managed to pin Leone down, who glared at him but couldn't deny that a smile made its way onto her face.

He had one leg firmly placed atop both of hers, pinning them down, while his other leg was stretching further up, keeping one of her arms pinned by stepping down his shoe onto her wrist.

Her other arm was held by one of his hands, also by the wrist, while his other hand was pointing at her neck, small crystal claws being seen extending past where his fingers are, just barely touching her.

"Gotcha." Shobu said, smiling proudly.

Leone smiled back up at him. "I admit it, was not expecting that." She said, giving a small laugh. "That surprised me."

"I can shatter my crystals whenever I please, turning it into a dust form so light it gets carried away by the wind, and so minuscule I could cover the whole world in crystal, shatter it, and the amount of dust made would only fill our base." He explained, accepting the unofficial compliment she gave him.

"I just have one thing to say." She added, earning a raised brow.

She quickly shifted her head to the side, leaning her head up and biting at his sleeve, pulling back and throwing him off balance, helping her to twist around and pin him the way he had her pinned.

"W-Woah, that's a professional for you." He muttered, having barely registered that they had even moved.

The only difference, apart from their positions, is that Leone had Shobu's neck actually grasped in her hand.

"Holding a person's neck like this prevents things like that from happening, things that stubborn people like me would think of doing, that's the only thing that was wrong with your pin, but otherwise good job." She said.
