"You all do what you can with Esdeath, we got Budo!" Shobu shouted out, rushing past the rest of Night Raid with Okami, running towards Budo and Esdeath, who stood side by side.
"What's this Okami is talking about, what "orders" did you give him?" Esdeath asked, glancing at Budo.
Budo grinned, closing his eyes. "Nothing I'd tell you, just know that I'm confident to say, the Great General will live." He stated.
Esdeath's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean by that?"
Budo kept his grin, choosing not to say.
"Ready Okami?" Shobu asked, lowering his arms.
"Yeah!"
Shobu shot his arms out, a pillar of crystal extending from the ground at breakneck speeds as Okami stood at the end of it, being flung towards Budo.
Budo quickly crossed his arms, Shobu tackling him across the arena, the two slamming into a wall, the both of them coughing out blood on impact.
Shobu dashed after them, his eyes meeting Esdeath's for just a moment.
Esdeath couldn't help a smirk from falling on her face as he passed her bye. "You two working together, aaah, I wish it were me." She commented to herself, before glancing back out to the remainder of Night Raid. "Haha! You heard them, I guess that means I'll be taking you all on!"
Okami let out a grunt of pain as Budo grabbed him by the throat, slamming him into the ground, just as he stood back up however, Shobu slammed into his gut, the Great General spitting up some blood.
Shobu sprung off of Budo, using some crystals to right Okami back up to his feet as the two stood side by side again.
"Between the two of us, it's safe to say you're the stronger one, so I'll work more on supporting you, and getting in tricky attacks, you just focus on keeping his attention on you." Shobu stated, watching as Budo stood back up, his face showing a blending of emotions between pride and frustration.
"Hmm, although that was not a true battle, I can tell the teamwork you two possess, at first I didn't believe it, but now I do." Budo commented, glaring at the two. "Two parts of the same person, this is likely the most shocking thing I've ever heard of."
Budo took in a deep breath as he composed himself, calling on the power of his Teigu.
The sound of lightning was heard from above, and the two looked in the air to see the sunny blue sky suddenly become blocked out, dark clouds beginning to swirl from above as flashes of light crackled inside.
"Holy shit." Shobu mumbled.
"I've only ever fought him to this extent once, it means he's serious, if we get hit by one of this blasts, it'll hurt, and you'll probably be out of commission for a while." Okami stated, stepping in front of Shobu. "Ready?"
"Nope."
Okami let out a small laugh. "Well, you don't got a choice, let's do this."
Okami walked forward, matching Budo.
Budo suddenly threw his arms out, a surge of lightning forming around his body, and shooting out towards Okami.
"Never slow down Okami, trust in me!" Shobu shouted.
A wall of crystal appeared in front of the blast, shards of crystal flying out and disintegrating as the channel of lightning continued to tear away at it.
The walk suddenly disappeared, giving way to dust, and Budo's eyes widened as Okami appeared from the other side, charging full speed towards him, just beside the electrical current.
