"To think, after everything, she truly did want to join us." Tatsumi mumbled, looking out at the large explosion, a conflicted expression on his face.
Mine, who was standing next to him, nodded. "It was strange, but I owe her my life. And I also owe you my life." She added.
Tatsumi let out a sad laugh. "Hah, yeah, it really bothered me, I wasn't able to help you out before, and I could only help you now because of another person." He admitted.
The explosion subsided, clearing the clouds in the air for the sun, which was just starting to rise over the horizon out in the distance.
"I promise you, from now on, the only person you'll need to rely on, is me." Tatsumi said, turning to Mine with a reliant smile on his face.
Mine blushed at the look. "Hm, then, I'll keep you to that... thank you." She responded, looking at him with a sincere smile.
Tatsumi found himself blushing as well, and nodded.
"Sure thing."

Kurome sat in a seat at a specific hall of the Cathedral, just watching Okami, who was clad in nothing but some trousers and his masquerade mask, repeatedly striking a large block of Iron easily a thousand times his size with unrelenting, blinding speeds, his face unreadable.
Kurome calmly ate a snack as she watched him.
A knock was heard, and Wave walked into the room.
He took one look at Okami, and let out a pained sigh. "He's still at it? It's almost noon, more than four hours of this." He mumbled, sitting down next to Kurome.
They had heard news of Seryu and Koro's deaths the night before, Okami finding out first thing in the morning, thanks to Suzuka, who had made it back with some heavy injuries.
The actual fight had happened as of two nights ago, and Shobu had gotten to striking this large iron block all morning, having found out that not only was Seryu dead, but also that she had betrayed them.
"Little did I know she was being truthful, she had actually intended to join Night Raid, and had nearly taken me down with her." Suzuka had explained.
Esdeath had gone back to her room, assumably to strategize, while the other three members all had mixed feelings.
Kurome was expressionless about the news after hearing about Seryu's betrayal, Wave found himself conflicted, while Run just kept himself busy, not denying that he'd miss her.
A large *bang* sounded out across the hall, Wave and Kurome both bringing their hands up to their ears as dust flew out across the room.
"DAMN IT ALL!" Okami shouted out, angrily exiting the room, slamming the door shut.
When the dust cleared, the two looked at the large block of Iron, and suddenly realized just how strong Okami was.
The block was crushed.
Wave gaped at the sight, while Kurome herself was stunned.
"I think, I should go talk to him." Wave mumbled, walking out after Okami.
A sudden hand stopped him however, and he looked back at Kurome, who shook her head. "It's best not to, I know the kind of loss he's experiencing, it's best he pulls himself back together, because then he'll be even stronger." She explained. "Plus, there's the off chance you may be turned to paste if you say the wrong thing." She persuaded.
"Ah. Aha, right." Wave let out, his face whitening. "Let's, just go then, best to leave him alone." He said, as if reminding himself.

Action"You sure this'll work?" Shobu asked, holding the rare ore in his hand, glancing at Okami, before hesitantly looking over at Esdeath, who was waiting patiently for them. "Yes." Okami responded, taking a heavy breath as he held up his own ore. "Alrig...
