Shobu stumbled into the room where Tatsumi and the others were just after Tatsumi had explained about the Jaegers.
"Shobu! Where were you?" Akame asked. "We got Tatsumi back." She said.
Shobu plopped down on the nearest unused couch. "Sorry, I had a run in with some guy in armour who said something about Night Raid, and upon realizing he was apparently chasing one of us, I engaged in combat with him, he's a pretty tough cookie." He explained, sighing. "I think it was a draw, we both realized we'd both just die if we continued to fight because of the amount of danger beasts around, so we kinda just left." He added.
"Probably that Wave guy." Lubbock commented, thinking back to Tatsumi's explanation.
"Who?"
"Wave."
"No he said he was following the river."
Lubbock sighed as Shobu stared cluelessly at him. "Just shut it."
Leone scowled as she spoke what was on her mind. "So the Jaegers, are all really Teigu users, this is gonna be tough." She said, the information sinking in for everyone.
"I can't believe Kurome's a member." Akame mumbled.
"Why didn't you guys flee the Empire together?" Tatsumi asked.
"When I broke away, I invited her naturally, but my sister chose to stay. As far as she's concerned, I'm the traitor." Akame spoke solemnly.
"Then it's a jealousy thing." Shobu commented.
"Huh?" Akame asked, looking over at him.
"I've never met her, so I can't say, but it sounds like she was always in your shadow, protected by you, and now that you had betrayed her, her opportunity to shine, to be seen as useful, became present." Shobu explained, then putting his face down into the couch, feeling tiredness creeping up to him.
"Tatsumi, was Kurome eating the same snacks all the time?" Akame asked, keeping what Shobu explained deep in her mind.
"Yeah, she was always munching on candy." Tatsumi responded, recalling the many memories.
"It seems she was at it every chance she had." Akame mumbled. "I see."
"Akame!" Mine started, waiting for the girl to direct to her her attention. "I've said this before but, even if she's your little sister, if she's attacking us, I'm going to fire a shot right through her." She explained.
Akame remained silent for a moment. "I'm sure Kurome's aware of that." She responded.
"Hmm, I wish I had more information on these Teigu's." Lubbock said through his hand, writing down extra notes into the book of Teigu's that Tatsumi found.
"Seryu's had some enhancements made to her personage, is that right? Rubicante's famous, but it'll be difficult to devise a countermeasure to it." He went on, staring at the pages, pen in hand.
"That flying Mastema is already in the records right?" Mine asked.
"But I don't know what other secrets it may hold." Lubbock responded.
"Ah, that reminds me, what's Kurome's Teigu?" Tatsumi asked.
"March of the Dead, Yatsufusa." Akame started, knowing this one by heart. "Those it cuts, come back as her personal zombies, the curse works on up to eight people at a time. It can also make use of the skills these puppets had when they were alive. When the control over them is released, they revert back to corpses." She said, her voice low.
"Whoa whoa! So if she cuts me, I'd go over to the enemy side!?" Tatsumi ask-shouted.
"And since you'd be dead, there's no saving you." Leone added.
