Looking up into the sky, Mine and Tatsumi had their moment of relief disrupted at the potential new enemy.
"What is that!? A new player!?" Tatsumi asked.
"Hold on a sec!" Mine responded, taking out a special kind of scope and placing it over her eye. "It's the boss! She brought reinforcements!" She announced.
"Oooh nice timing! And no fair!" Tatsumi shouted out.
"...how?" Mine asked, confused.
"She's making her entrance riding that massive beast? I wanna ride it too!" Tatsumi responded, as if it were obvious.
"Huuuh!?" Mine let out, surprised at his childishness.
"I've been thinking this for a while, but you've got a skewed sense of things." She informed him.
Kehehe, Trauma thought to himself, hiding in the bushes by the two's blind spot. You cute, cute little girl. Your back is completely exposed!
He jumped forward, knife in hand, only to get a hard kick into the side of his face, courtesy of Leone.
"You really did it this time, you bastard!" She shouted out.
Trauma skidded along the ground, quickly being picked up by the neck as Mine and Tatsumi both noticed the new arrivals.
"Nnngghh, the pain, spare me." Trauma wheezed out.
"The thing is." Leone started, glaring hard at Trauma whilst in her Lioness form. "I like sneak attacks, but haaaate being snuck up on. You've got some power, but don't think that's going to make dying any easier for you." She spoke coldly.
Tatsumi and Mine both paled at her words, seeing that she was really riled up for some reason.
Trauma grinned, letting out a laugh as a knife extended out from his boot, and he kicked up at her.
Leone clamped her teeth down on the blade, stopping the attack completely, shocking Trauma. "She, must've done that last time too." He realized.
Leone then slammed Trauma into the ground, hard, killing the man.
"Phew! The blow I took from his sneak attack was pretty effective." Leone commented, before realizing Trauma had died and sighing.
"H-hey, you okay?" Tatsumi asked.
"I heal quicker when I'm transformed, this ain't nothing." Leone responded, jotting a finger at herself.
"Everyone's okay!" Akame said, stepping out of some brush with Lubbock.
"Oh, where's Shobu?" She asked, noticing all but him were present.
Akame suddenly became alert, getting into a stance.
This alerted the others, as they all formed a defensive circle, hundreds more of Dr. Stylish's soldiers coming out of the shadows and trees and surrounding them.
"There are still more left." Tatsumi muttered.
"At least they're the only ones my threads are picking up on." Lubbock informed, deciding to keep the information that Shobu was heading this way a secret, just in case the enemy heard.
"I don't smell any others nearby." Leone commented, suppressing a smirk.
Dr. Stylish is probably the only one who came after us then, in that case, we can handle this! Tatsumi thought.
"All right! Now that we're all here, let's knock 'em all flat in one go!" Tatsumi shouted, relieved.
"Yeah!" Akame added.
