His strength suddenly seemed to increase, his body grew larger, his muscles more defined.
Shobu swallowed a lump in his throat as Nyau stared him down, a small smirk befalling his lips.
"Huh, it's been a long time since I've taken this form." He spoke, his voice a bit deeper.
Shobu shuddered, how strong! He thought.
His headache has mostly cleared by now, something he felt very glad about.
He was still a bit self conscious about his own power at the moment, knowing he'll have to get absolutely serious now.
Taking a deep breath, Shobu made a circling motion with his hands, crystals growing up into sharp claws at the ends of his fingertips.
He had to concentrate, he was still a little physically worn from their previous scuffle, but this time none of the stops are being pulled out.
Shobu cursed, so this is what she meant.
In a situation like this, there is no way I can get physically stronger, not unless I unlock something, the only way I can get stronger is by figuring this out myself, whether it be a new technique or something else, He realized.
He shook his head, Nyau was just staring at him, before he drew a fist back, placing a foot back as well.
"I remember now, you're the one that stopped me from adding to my collection, once I'm done with you, I'm going to kill the rest, then I'm going to take you, and break you." Nyau said icily, lunging forward.
Shobu tapped his foot, a crystal pillar extending up into the air, up father then Nyau's head, with him standing atop it.
The crystal cracked immensely, but it was able to withstand the punch.
Shobu made a rising motion with both hands, and multiple more crystal pillars all sprouted up, covering the crystal battleground.
He leaned down, jumping off the pillar, and started to jump around, continuously building up speed as he whizzed around, to an untrained eye almost unseeable.
Nyau however had no untrained eye.
"Hmph, how weak." He muttered.
Shobu launched at him, hands extended, planning on slicing into the blond as he passed by him.
It worked, he sliced into Nyau's side, but Nyau also caught him by the ankle as he shot by, quickly turning and slamming him into the ground.
"Ack!" Shobu rasped out, coughing.
He didn't even have the time to stand up before Nyau was over him, a foot raised.
Before he could stomp down, Shobu quickly threw his hands out, crossing them.
He took a deep breath as the stomp nearly shattered the crystals that formed overtop him, and concentrated.
The crystal shattered as another thump was heard, and Shobu placed his hands on the ground, intending on shooting up using another pillar.
