Esdeath kicked Akame away, quickly evading to the side as a beam of energy blasted by her, before two other presences made themselves known.
She held back a grin as she jumped in the air mid-dash, completely evading Tatsumi's fatal swing of the lance, and at the same time twisting around, delivering a brutal kick to Leone's side, who'd been above her.
As she landed back on the ground, she let out a laugh of excitement. "Amazing! This is so much more entertaining than last time!" She shouted zealously.
The sudden crackling of Thunder interrupted her from speaking any more, and Esdeath's eyes widened as she glanced over to the other side of the arena.
Shobu, in his crystal form, Okami, and Budo were all still up and very much alive.
But this Thunder...
"Haha, those two drove him up against the wall by themselves!? Now I really wish that were me over there!" She announced.
She looked back towards the other members of Night Raid. "Very well, I've decided, I'll be taking you all back with me! And execute you all in front of them, I can only wonder how much anger they'd hold, how much more powerful they'd become!" She then shouted.
"Oh, except for you Tatsumi, don't worry." She added, sending a small wink to the armoured man, who clicked his tongue in disgust.
The clouds above started to swirl around as bolts of lightning struck down into the arena at random places.
Esdeath's eyes narrowed as she dodged a strike of lightning.
How strange, this only happens when he's very emotional, but for some reason. She looked over towards Budo, who had a smile on his face still as he began to step towards Okami and Shobu. For some reason, it doesn't feel like he's angry, but rather something else, proud?
She felt her lips purse into a smirk. "I see now, so even someone like you understand they need to retire eventually."
Shobu stood out in front of Okami. "Got any more cards?" He asked, having already pulled out his own trump.
"I got one, but it hurts like a bitch, and it won't be effective to use as a simple attack, it'll need to be the final blow." Okami responded, bringing a hand up to touch his own neck.
Shobu rose a brow as he glanced back at Okami. "Is that so?"
"Yeah, for now, we should try to get used to his new power, he's definitely going to hurt a lot more now." He mumbled.
Shobu only grinned. "Then it's time for us to go all out too huh?"
Okami groaned. "Unless you have some secondary transformation to that ability, I don't think we can do much more than we have."
"Haha! I've been prioritizing my offence and defence on hand-to-hand, only using my crystals sometimes, I'll be more lethal with them now, but I might be a tad slower." Shobu responded.
"That's fine, even if you're slower you can probably take a good beating before you're down."
He gasped. "Wow, you know me so well!"
Okami's eye twitched. "I swear, I'm giving you a good beating if we get out of this alive."
Shobu kept his grin. "Fine by me, I've been itching for a rematch."
Budo suddenly pumped his fists together, causing the two to tense up.
"Come, Lightning Emperor!" He shouted out.
The few, stray bolts of lightning hitting around the arena suddenly grew in size and quantity, bolts of lightning hitting all around the arena to the point the dark sky began to seem like a clear day.

Aksi"You sure this'll work?" Shobu asked, holding the rare ore in his hand, glancing at Okami, before hesitantly looking over at Esdeath, who was waiting patiently for them. "Yes." Okami responded, taking a heavy breath as he held up his own ore. "Alrig...
