Esdeath stared at the two as they approached, but felt conflicted.
The one in the armour, Incursio, she felt conflicted about attacking him or not, despite the fact that he's fresh full of flaws, there's something about him that... reminds her of someone.
"Interesting."
"Najenda! I know your awake, wait for the right moment to do it, we'll buy you as much time as you need so that he can be at full power!" Shobu announced, punching his fists together.
Najenda, who was weakly standing up, smiled.
God, how pathetic, I can't believe she had blacked me out, I knew what was happening, but my body wouldn't follow, she's clearly stronger, she's way stronger than before.
"Good call Shobu!" She shouted back, shaking her head with a smirk. "Give me as much time as you can!"
She sat down, resting, recovering, in order to make sure that when she used Susanoo's trump card, he would be as powerful as possible.
Shobu nodded.
"Watch my 4 to 8, everything else I'll be taking head on, launch an attack when you can." Shobu said. "And try to match me." He added, taking a step.
"Got it, just be careful, someone like Esdeath, it's impossible to know what kind of tricks she has." Tatsumi warned, twirling his lance as he walked step for step the same as Shobu, just standing right behind him.
"Hah, a frontal assault, how brave!" Esdeath shouted, charging forward.
Shobu readied his body, crystal sprouting from around his hands as he traded blow for blow Esdeath's attacks, using his hands to block anything from the front, while crystal pillars sprouted up from the ground to block attacks at his sides, at some times positioned in a way that forced Esdeath to stop her attack, lest she wishes to get a skewered arm.
What's more, any stray attacks that targeted his blind spot was quickly deflected by Tatsumi, who kept up as best he could.
"Hahahaha! Yes, yes! This is great! Keep this up, I'm going to go harder now!" Esdeath shouted out, her rapier slashing at dizzying speeds as Shobu tried to block all of the strikes.
At one point, he saw a good opportunity, and slipped under an attack of hers. She grinned mad. "Nice dodge! But how will you dodge this!?" She shouted, icicles appearing above them shooting out at him.
Shobu quickly battered the air, striking the ice to shatter, and as Esdeath went for a strike to his stomach, Tatsumi suddenly stabbed forward with his spear, Esdeath just barely dodging the attack.
Her eyes widened, where the spear came from, it was just to the side of this "Shobu's" waist, no communication, no hesitance!
"Impeccable, you have trained for this haven't you? Shobu's ultimate defence, and then Incursio's perfect adaptability, how superb!" She shouted out, ecstatic with this strange formation.
She suddenly dashed around Shobu, aiming to strike Tatsumi with her Rapier, and she moved in close. Moving in like this, no crystal can block it!
She stabbed forward, Tatsumi barely being able to parry the blow, but the two's eyes widened at how he had been able to do this.
With just Tatsumi's reaction speed, he couldn't have parried the strike, but crystal had sprouted from the ground just under Tatsumi, shuffling him a bit to the right to dodge the attack, before parrying.
Shobu suddenly twisted around, and delivered a harsh kick at Esdeath, which she blocked with some ice, but was still blown back a bit.
"Amazing, I think you two are going to be coming with me as well!" She shouted out.
