Shit! Fucking forgot how strong he was! If I hadn't reinforced my fist with crystal, I probably would've broken something.
Tch, he upped his training, that actually stung a little bit.
Both of them landed down onto the ground, Okami holding a serious expression as he held out his arms, Shobu shaking his hand as he grinned out towards his other half.
Okami suddenly charged forward, Shobu dodging as he rose a pillar of crystal, before lifting a hand, a bunch of spikes of crystal sprouting up from the ground.
Okami faltered as the ground beneath him changed, but dashed forward, the spiked tips of the crystals doing nothing to slow him down.
He slammed his fist into the crystal pillar Shobu was on, cracking it, and frowned, having to dodge to the side as some more crystal spears shot out from another area.
He looked around.
Fuck.
He'd sprouted crystal walls up all around the two, a smaller makeshift Crystal Pyramid, made with just as much room as they'd need.
"Fine, let's play like that." Okami took a deep breath as crystal formed around his arms, making gauntlets that moved as though they were armour, and charged forward again.
He jumped up towards Shobu, who grinned as he crossed his arms.
Something suddenly slammed into Okami's back, and he gasped as he glanced back. I couldn't even notice it, could that mean they've gotten faster? He wondered, twisting around to crush the block of crystal he'd been hit by.
He landed back down on the ground, glaring up at Shobu.
"Alright, let's do this."
"Let's."
Okami ran forward, and he immediately had to dodge and weave around all sorts of crystal spears and pillars as they shot out at him, and tried to stop him.
He pressed on, running forward, and Shobu laughed as he jumped back, barely avoiding Okami as he slammed down where he just was, shattering the pillar.
He landed down, Okami dropping down some distance away, and quickly shot up into the air again.
Okami jumped up after him, and Shobu shot a hand out, a cluster of crystal spears shooting out at Okami.
Okami remained unfazed, twisting his body to dodge around the spears midair, before grabbing onto the last one, using its momentum to spin further, launching it up at Shobu.
Shobu panicked, quickly raising a wall of crystal out in front of him, flinching back as the spear stabbed through, just barely touching his stomach.
"...Nice."
He flicked his hand, dispersing the crystal, and levelled the ground, realizing it was distracting him, and seemed to be helping Okami focus.
Okami landed back down on the ground, before slamming his hands into the ground, gripping a large chunk of crystal and throwing that up at Shobu next.
Shobu jumped down to avoid the second projectile, and grinned as Okami charged after him.
He punched forward, and Shobu grabbed the extended fist, eating the punch.
Okami's eyes widened as Shobu, in his crystalline form, grinned back at him.
Okami suddenly felt a pain in his legs, and found himself airborne as Shobu swept his feet out from under him, before he was launched further skyward from a pillar of crystal that shot up from the ground.
