"When is your birthday ba, Lia?" Gia asked
It's been a week since the incident at the theater and surprisingly ay maayos na ang paglalakad ko kaya ito ako't pagala gala nanaman kasama si Gia. It was just a minor sprain kaya mabilis din ang naging recovery ko.
What's even more surprising is that postponed ang Sports Fest sa Vallejo because of the unfortunate event that transpired sa Visayas. Medyo pumabor saakin ang panahon but I am saddened by the reason why.
They were hit by a Typhoon so the TVP went there to send assistance to the victims. Professor Thomas and Miss Noelle went with them, and even my Mommy Val bilang hindi ako nakasama.
"Matagal pa pala, don't you think it's too early to be shopping for clothes for that event?" tanong niyang ulit
I stopped for a while to look at her. "It's for you and Nanay, Gia.
"Try these on and then piliin mo lahat ng magustuhan mo. It's on me." abot ko sakanya ng mga napili ko
"These are a lot, Lia. As expected from Miss Gia Vista.
Sighing, she said, "Fine. Just pick two at iyon na ang bilhin mo, ikaw na ang bahala."
"Okay, let's take this wine red blazer dress for you and this navy blue chiffon dress for Nanay." I rejoiced after.
"How much are these?" her question made me roll my eyes
"No, you tell me or wala tayong kukunin." pinagtaasan pa ako nito ng kilay
"Uh, fine! The wine red dress is 10 and iyong navy blue naman 8. Happy? I told you, it's just okay price."
"What?" tanong ko
"You're spending too much money in completely unnecessary things." sabi nito
"These are not unnecessary. Isipin mo nalang you need a special outfit for the special day of a person dear to you." nginisian ko ito dahil umirap lang siya
"You're like my what, sugar mommy?
What the actual fuck?
"Me, sugar mommy? Mukha bang sobrang tanda ko na? I'm just turning 23!" hindi ko na talaga napigilang matawa
"Nasa age ba iyon? What do you think sugar mommies do?" tanong nito saakin
Gift giving, dates, shopping, hatid sundo if necessary, and just literally anything that involves spending money for their sugar babies.
"Hmm, what do you think, Miss Revamonte? Sugar mommy na ba kita ngayon?" she asked while smirking at me
"No, goodness!" sabay natawa ito
