Chapter 18

As planned, I went straight inside the gymnasium to watch Professor Thomas's practice. Nang makapasok ako sa gym ay hindi pa sila nagsisimula.

"Hi, prof!" bati ko nang m madatnan itong mag-isang nakaupo sa bench while her teammates are busy warming up

"Why are you here? Mag-warm up ka din, Ma'am." uupo na sana ako sa tabi niya nang magsalita ito

"Tie my hair, Revamonte." utos nito

"What po?" I asked just to check if I heard her right

"Damn it! I said tie my hair, you deaf!" ulit nito pero mas wild

Siya na nga itong bigla biglang nag-uutos, siya nanaman itong galit.

"Va bene, amore mio." sabi ko dahilan para makatanggap ako ng sapak sa braso, making me laugh. Nakakaintindi nga pala.

"Did you wait for me to come here so, I can tie your hair kaya nandito ka pa at nakaupo?" tanong ko sakanya

Expectedly, she shook her head. "No. I just got here, hindi kita hinintay."

"Okay, sabi mo eh." pagkikibit balikat ko

As wished, I went to fix her hair just like the way I did it last time. Bagay na bagay kasi sakanya iyon, though bagay naman ang kahit anong hairstyle sakanya.

"Yay! Ganda talaga ng donkey ko!" Again, another sapak for me.

"Umayos ka, Revamonte!" banta nito bago tumayo na

When I realized she's about to join her team to warm up, I took the opportunity to mess with her once more.

"Good Luck, baby!" I said, just enough for her to hear me. I grinned when she rolled her eyes before finally joining her teammates.

I watched as she started stretching. She's tall, about six foot flat, while I stand five foot nine high so there's just a bit of a height difference.

I wanted to keep on watching her from here but I don't wanna look like eye fucking her so I look somewhere else for a while. Hindi naman siya mawawala sa harap ko kaya pwedeng lumingon din muna sa iba.

Sa hindi kalayuan ay nakita ko si Miss Manzo, already walking towards my direction. When she saw me looking her way, a smile immediately made its way to her face.

"Can you?" tanong nito at alam ko na kaagad ang ibig niyang sabihin.

Her hair is still undone and I took it as a sign that she's asking me to do it for her.

"Sure, Ma'am. Sit here nalang po."

Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo sa bench at siya ang pinaupo doon habang sa likod naman niya ako. I tied her hair just as how she wants it.

"Are you free after this game, Thalia?" tanong nito

Pinag-isipan ko naman kung may gagawin pa ba ako pagkatapos nito. But before I could bring myself to respond to her question, someone already served as my spokeswoman.

"She's not, Adel." napakunot noo naman kaming pareho ni Miss Manzo nang lingunin namin si Professor Thomas

"But why?" tanong ni Miss Manzo sakanya ngunit ang mga mata nito ay nasa akin habang nanatiling nakakunot ang noo. Maging ako ay walang maisagot.

"We have a meeting for TVP later." Professor Thomas towered over the both of us since Professor Manzo is just as tall as me.

"Oh, alright. Maybe next time will do, Thalia. See you around!" Professor Yuzon excused herself and went back to her side of the court.

I then turned to the woman standing beside me. I faced her with my arms crossed against my chest and a single brow raised at her.

"What's that, Professor?" kwestyon ko
