20 | FATHER

"Adane was it? Yes... He's a very busy guy. You will too, starting tomorrow Miss Vice president. To select a date will be hard. But if you want to meet him, maybe we can co-operate with their group. 

Tomorrow I can make a contract between the AHM group and the AB group. You can deliver the contract and attend the meeting. You okay with that?" Verona asked.

"Yea," Bella nodded. "Thanks."

"Don't tell me thanks. After all, when Mario comes in a month's time, I'm sure you don't want to see us and then feel lonely"

"I see, I see." Bella nodded. "At least I already have four children, what about you? Aren't you popping out any soon?"

Verona blushed, "When he comes, you'll see."

Bella laughed. "Good night. Remember tomorrow is our first day of work. Don't wake up late."

Bella left Verona's room and went to check on her children. She opened their rooms one by one, noticed that they were sleeping, and kissed them on the forehead then left. Bella entered her room and thought about what happened today. She sighed and decided to leave it to time.

At this time, six small legs entered Camila's room.

"Cam, you up?" James asked.

"Of course, I could not sleep after hearing what Aunt Verona told mom." Camila replied.

They all had a happy expression of their faces, but they were sad inside. They didn't know if their mother will allow them to meet their father. They didn't know if one day they would have a happy family.

Based on what he heard, James knew that the man that he met at the mall was his father. His heart was aching, he didn't get the chance to call him dad.

"James! School doesn't start until two days' time. What are we going to do, it's 8pm already." Jeremy questioned.

"Don't worry, we will be accompanying mommy to work tomorrow. We can call Grandma Jane and Grandpa Ben and ask them to out to lunch. James do you remember the name that our father said in the mall?" Charlotte asked.

James didn't reply. Instead, he went around Camila's desk, opened her computer and started to search something.

"Hey! How did you get my password?" Camila shouted

"Shh... they are sleeping." Jeremy stated.

"Don't worry about that Cam, you can change it tomorrow." Charlotte comforted.

"Done." James replied.

On the laptop, was a picture of Adane Crawford, he was in an expensive tuxedo.

"He is our father." Charlotte smiled. "I got to say, mom picked a well-polished gem to be our father." Said Charlotte smiling.

"Stop day dreaming, that's mommy's man. Just focus on your online boyfriend." Camila chipped in.

"Okay girls, let's get down to business." Jeremy commanded. They nodded.

"We can talk to Grandma and Grandpa and ask them if they could get the DNA sample form our father, just to make sure." Jeremy stated.

"Why?" Camila asked.

"Just to make sure, mom said that he might not be our father. It might take a while though for Grandma and Grandpa to get his DNA sample. After all, he is one of the most private man in the city. I don't even know if they can get it." James answered.

"That's probably a lost cause. What if we just show them this picture," Camila pointed at Adane's picture on her laptop. "And just tell them that we think he might be our father, and get their input? Anyone agrees?"

Charlotte, James and Jeremy nodded.

"Okay, now that everything is settled, can you all get out of my room, I need my beauty rest."

"Is that how you speak to your elders?" Jeremy asked.

"You are not my elder, being twenty two minutes older than me is not old." 

"We are older than you though." James stuck out his tongue.

"Guys! She needs her beauty rest. I need mine too. Tomorrow is our first day at the company. We need to look our best." With that Charlotte was leaving Camila's room.

"You're saying that and you are not working at AHM." Jeremy replied.

Charlotte was getting angry. James shocked his head, said goodnight and left his siblings.  

"Hey, get out of my room!" Camila shouted pushing Charlotte and Jeremy out of her room.

The next Day they all got ready and drove to the AHM building.
