"Okay, Okay, I heard you my little chickens." Verona laughed, wiping the tears from her eyes.
"Aunt, you're so big and you're crying. Only babies cry. Do you see us crying?" Charlotte asked.
"Yes aunt, you should be our niece and we can be your aunts and uncles." Camila continued.
"Then we will most certainly take care of you." James followed.
"On the bright side, we can call you our little pumpkin." Jeremy smiled.
"What will you call your mamma?" Verona asked.
"Our little angel!" They said in unison.
Bella nodded, feeling proud.
"So I'm the little pumpkin and your mamma is an angel. That's unfair!" Verona folded her hands over her chest.
"Okay my little niece, aunty will take care of you. Do you want ice-cream? I can get it for you tomorrow." Charlotte comforted Verona.
"Hey! Who told you that I'm your niece?" Verona said, acting as if she was angry.
"You better run before I spank all of you!"
"We are sorry aunt!" With that, they ran to their rooms."
"Hey!" Verona called Bella.
"Hmm? What's up?" Bella asked
"I'm good, but what about you? Are you mentally prepared?" Verona asked Bella.
Bella sighed, "I think so, um, I just want them to have a father in their life. That's the least for me to do. I can't let them grow up without a father. I know they long for a father, but they don't ask. I also know they want a complete family. It breaks my heart to see them like this."
"It's okay, you'll get through this." Verona comforted.
"I hope so. I love them and I want to give them the world." Bella sighed. "What about you, aren't you going to live your happy ever after?"
Verona blushed, "Yes, I'm only living with you here for a month remember. Mario will be moving here a month's time and I'll be living with him."
They both laughed. They all settled in their new house. The next day Bella enrolled her children in school. She selected a school that was close to the AHM group, so she could pick them up early. After which they went to the mall. Before entering the mall, Camila stated "Remember we are here to buy ice-cream and I suggested it, so I'll be the one to get served first!"
"You wish! First born, first served!" James patted Camila's shoulder.
"Ha, look at you James, the most intelligent of us should get served first." Jeremy smiled proudly.
"Aunt Verona, can you order my ice-cream first please." Charlotte asked showing her bright dark puppy eyes.
"Of course. How can I say no to my little pumpkin?"
"You're the best!" Charlotte hugged Verona
"No fair!" Camila pouted.
"That's cheating!" James joined.
"Mom, can you order my ice-cream first, I want chocolate chip." Jeremy asked Bella.
"I will." Bella pinched Jeremey's nose.
"What about us!?" James and Camila asked in unison, looking displeased.
"Okay! I'll buy for everyone, now go to the kiddies' area over there." Bella pointed to the small park in the mall. Jeremy went with his sisters while James said he would stand and wait. Bella and Verona joined the ice-cream line. They were quite a distance from the kids.
Just at this moment, a tall, honey-colour handsome man was passing by. He had just finished talking to the manager of the mall. He received an urgent call about the financial status of the mall and had to come and check it out.
Even though he was the boss, normally he would not do this type of job, but this was an urgent matter that only he could solve. He had just ended the problem and was about to exit the mall. Something caught his attention and he stood in place. Right before him, he saw the miniature version of himself.
