43 | THEY WERE GUILTY

There were various images of Carlos cheating on Kay.

In one of the images, Kay was handcuffed to a wall crying as she watched her husband please another woman. (Picture was taken a few days after Carlos found out that Kay could not get pregnant).

Other pics were there where Carlos was with many other women.

Due to these images, Carlos received nasty comments. Some people felt sorry for Kay. Some said that their marriage should end because they were both unfaithful, and others said that they both deserved each other.
Carlos' company was now on the verge of bankruptcy.

Kay saw the pictures that were posted, and she broke down. Not only did the world know about her unfaithfulness. They also knew how Carlos treated her. She was ashamed to show her face to the public.

When planning her revenge, Bella made sure to hit the spot where it hurts the most. Both Carlos and Kay were proud. They loved having a good reputation, but all they built was now tumbling down.

Bella hired someone to take care of Kay. After a few days, the news about Carlos and Kay was still raging.

Carlos was in the hospital. He did a surgery to fix a broken rib and was now in bed recovering.

When his father saw the pictures that were posted about Carlos, he fainted.

In those few days, Bella spent most of her spare time with Adane. They were getting to know each other more. All was going well.

As usual, Bella took her kids to school and then went to work. Bella was looking over some drafts sent by the chief designer of their company when she heard a knock on her door. She told the person to come in.

Still focused on her work, she heard someone clear their throat.

Bella looked up and was shocked to see her parents in front of her.

"...Dad, M-mom?" Her voice cracked. She didn't expect to see them. Tears were swirling in her eyes.

She did miss them, they were her parents. Even though they didn't give a shit about her after the hotel incident six years ago, she still loved them.

Her parents recently found out that Bella was alive when Kay transferred Bella's shares to her.

Bella's mom, Gretta, ran over to Bella and hugged her, "Bella, you're alive. My little blue gem is alive." she was crying.
Bella returned the hug and was crying, too.

"Mom, why didn't you look for me six years back? Wasn't I your little blue gem then?"

"Carlos and your sister showed us evidence that you cheated on Carlos. The White's family told us that if we didn't make Carlos marry Kay instead, they would reveal it to the public." Johnathan, Bella's father replied.

Bella released her mother, "Did that stop you from searching for me back then, I was all alone."

Her parents were both silent. They were guilty. When they received the news about Bella cheating on Carlos, they were abroad. After landing back in New York, they were faced with the White's family to change wedding plans. They didn't have time to think about finding Bella
All that mattered was keeping face.

Back then, they were mad at Bella but didn't have the time to confront her. When they finally sent out a search team, they got the news that Bella had died in a car accident, her organs were donated, she was cremated, and her ashes were thrown into the sea.

They explained that to Bella, and after hearing what they did from their own mouths, they felt how wrong they were. They asked Bella to forgive them, and she did.
