15 | Adane's Children

Outside the mall..

"Go and investigate that woman and those children. Find out which school they attend and get their DNA test." I need this information five days' time.

Stephan shuddered "Yes boss." He replied.

Stephan though he was quite lucky during these six years. He only got extra work and did not lose his job. Stephan hoped that the boys were Adane's children. He thought that was the only way he could redeem himself. 

Ever since the incident six years ago, Adane became a workaholic, he occasionally visited his family twice a year. He would avoid the topic about getting married and having children. He wondered if those two boys were his. Thinking so, a smile hung from his lips.

Soon, Bella came over to Verona with Charlotte and Camila by her side. Verona opened her mouth to say something but Jeremey was faster than her.

"Mom! I think I just saw dad!"
Bella was stunned. Her heart was racing when she heard what Jeremy said.

"You saw dad!?" Charlotte and Camila questioned.

Bella and her daughters were stunned.

"Yes," Jeremy replied.

Bella glanced at Verona. Verona nodded. Bella stood in place.

"You don't even know what your father looks like, how do you know it was him?" Bella asked. She was trembling.

"He looks like me and Jeremy. He came up to me asking me what your name was. I didn't tell him. I knew he might be my father but... but... I didn't say." James replied. His heart was burning, he thought 'What if he's my father and that was the last time I'll get to see him?'

Bella, seeing her children looking depressed, she said, "Mommy will find your father. I promise." Bella knew she had to face this sooner or later. She wanted the kids to have their father. She wasn't hoping for much, she still remembered that he was the most charming man she had ever seen. Bella didn't know if he was still single but she knew that no farther would reject his children.

The children's mood became better. They were smiling brightly, but they all had the same thought.

'Will mommy be happy if we find dad? Will we be a complete family like other kids? Will dad take us to the park and play games with us?'

They all ate their ice-creams thinking about different things.
After they all finished, Bella sighed then asked "Do you want us to go to the park?"

The children nodded and cheered. It has been quite a while since they had spent an entire day with Bella. Normally Bella would go to work and they would wait on her to come home in the evenings. Now they did not want to waste any time. Time was precious.

Bella and the kids decided to go to the park, but Verona said that she needed to rest. So Verona went home and Bella went with the kids to the park.
When Verona arrived home, she ran straight to her room and took up her computer. She was going to find all the information on 'Adane Crawford,' Verona wanted Bella to have a happy life as herself.

Adane was a private person, it was really hard to get any information on him. But, with her hacking skills Verona got what she needed. Looking at the man in the picture before her, a smile appeared on her lips.

On the other side of the city, Bella and her kids arrived at the park.
Bella wasn't in the mood to play with her kids so she allowed them to go and enjoy the rides while she sat on a bench. Bella zoned out, she was thinking about that night. The night she gave her first time to a stranger. The father of her kids.

Over the years, she tried hard to recall his face, but only a blur was there. The one thing that Bella knew was that he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. She wanted to find him. Bella didn't know if there was a chance of them being together, but she knew her kids needed a father.

While Bella was lost in her thoughts, Jeremy and Camila who were playing on the slide caught the eye of an middle-age couple. The couple was around fifty years old.

"Jane look! That boy playing with the dark-haired little girl. H-he looks like..."

"Ben, could that boy be our grandson. He looks like Adane! Wait! Look! There's another one!"

The couple were both in shock. When looking at the two little boys, they saw Adane.

"How could they be Adane's sons, you have heard about his sexual orientation. Maybe its David's sons. After all he goes home with a different woman every night." Ben replied.

"Don't talk so rash about our sons! As a father you should have thought them how to be a man!"

"Okay, I'll investigate about those children. To think about it, the little girl looks like him too."

"Could they be triplets!?"

While the couple were both in awe, they were cut off by a sweet voice. "Grand-Aunt, grand-uncle, why are you looking at my siblings like that?"
