"But what if the children come in here? They are little explorers. What if they see us?"

Adane walked closer to Bella and placed his head in the crotch of her neck.

He whispered "The door is closed. They can't enter, besides my parents won't let them out of their site. They have been waiting for grandchildren for almost ten years now. And now that we are on that topic, I think they won't mind us giving them another one. They would want more.

Bella was fighting the flame inside her, she wanted Adane badly.

"Then what if I'm not ready?"

Adane kissed Bella's neck and asked, "When will you be ready sweety?"

"Um... the thing is, I'm not sure yet, I'll tell you when I am."

"Okay." Adane released Bella.

The flame in Bella cooled down a bit. She felt lost, she wanted him but she didn't know why she was rejecting him. Bella sighed. It looked as if she couldn't make up her mind.

Adane didn't feel rejected by what Bella said. He wasn't planning on doing anything in the first place. He only wanted to tease her.

Adane wanted to make sure that Bella was his and his only. Then no one would be able to take what belonged to him.

"I was initially planning to give you this after you opened your eyes but I forgot."

"Forgot to give me what?" Bella asked.

"This," Adane knelt on one knee and took a velvet box out of his back pocket,

"Bella, I know I haven't explained what happened that night six years ago, but I'm glad it happened because I met you, I met someone who I know I want to spend the rest of my life with. Someone I know I can trust and spend all my good and bad days with. I love you Bella and..."

A bright smile was on Bella's face. "Yes!" before Adane could finish what he was saying Bella shouted feeling ecstatic. She didn't care that they had met less than ten times.

Bella gasped, 'I can't believe this is happening now. I already plan to be with the father of my kids from the start. I came to city A to let them have a complete family. I didn't know that Adane would be their father, the man wanted by all ladies over the city. And he is proposing to me now, I will have him for myself. Damn, Bella, you hit the jackpot.'

Adane showed a confused look, "What's wrong Bella?" He asked.

"I'll be with you. I love you too, and I'll be a good wife." Bella smiled again.

Adane looked into Bella's oceanic eyes. It didn't look as if she was lying.

"Can I continue now?" Adane smirked.

"Yeah, go ahead," Bella replied. She wanted that ring on her finger.

Adane cleared his throat, then opened the velvet box. Inside it was the sea blue emerald bracelet that Bella left in the hotel room six years ago. "This is yours."

"Thanks," Bella replied feeling deflated. 

Adane put the bracelet on Bella's hand with a small kiss.

The smile on Bella's face waned. She really thought that a wedding ring was in that box. 'You stupid idiot what were you thinking? It doesn't make sense you keep your hopes up. The guy barely knows you, yet you want him to marry you. Jokes on you Bella. You will never be his.'

'She was looking for a ring. How can I comfort her now?'

Bella looked at Adane and Adane looked back at her. They both didn't know what each other was thinking.

After a long while Adane broke the science,

"I want you to come with me to the Civil Affairs of Bureau tomorrow."

"Okay, why?" Bella asked.

"I want you to be mine forever."

Bella took a while to process what Adane said. When she understood what he said, she was not down anymore.

The smile on Bella's face glowed.

They planned to meet each other at the Civil Affairs of Bureau at five pm the next day.

Early the next morning, Bella woke up with a smile on her lips. She was going to get a wedding certificate today with Adane. They were legally going to be a couple.

Bella Got ready and went downstairs, only to find her children eating peacefully around the dining table in their School outfits.

"Good morning mummy," They all said in unison.

"Good morning pumpkins," Bella replied. She forgot that she should take them to school.

Bella poured herself a cup of tea and started to drink it looking out the window above the kitchen sink.

She then heard Charlotte ask, "Did you and daddy make a baby last night mummy?"

Bella had just taken a sip of her tea, and all of it came right out when she heard what her daughter asked.

"Why would you ask something like that Charlotte?" Bella looked at her innocent daughter.

"It's just that we saw you and Daddy kissing on the stairs at Grandma's..." Camila said.

"You then went into a room and closed the door. After a long while you came out, plus, you were smiling and Daddy had a faint smile on his face." Charlotte continued.

Bella looked at her children and wondered if they were really five years old.

'How could they know about that already?'

"Your dad and I were talking about your future. When I told you yesterday to leave the adult business to adults, I wasn't talking to James alone, it goes for all of you. What your father and I do is private, if we want you to know, you will know.

Verona came down and heard what the children were saying, she burst out laughing. She already knew what happened with Bella yesterday. Hearing the children saying that she couldn't resist laughing.

"Mummy, when can we meet Daddy again?" James asked.

"Yes mummy, we really miss him." Jeremy followed

"You'll see him soon tomorrow at the latest," Bella replied.

They got ready and drove to their destination. Verona drove her Rolls Royce to work She wanted to send the children off to school with Bella, but she had an important meeting to attend. After Bella dropped off her children, she took out her phone and saw a text message from Adane.

Mr Crawford: "I love you ;)" It also had a heart emoji.

Bella blushed. She was on cloud nine. She didn't know why but when she thought of anything related to Adane, she lost her mind. Bella knew that she should not be too attached because if one day they were to part, she could not think of what would happen to her.
