52 | PROMISE ME

"If they didn't get anything from me, what makes you think they will get anything from you. You should also know that my man won't fall for you. You took Carlos and I've gotten over that, you want this one too. I'm sure you know how to get a man for yourself without taking mine." 

"How did you..."

"How did I know about you and Carlos?" Bella scoffed.

"I've known since six years back. That night you set me up, I was lucky to have gone to the wrong room, I wouldn't be able to imagine what those men would have done to me. Bella held back her tears.

Kay covered her mouth. 'She knew everything.'

Bella continued, "The next morning I came back to call off the wedding with Carlos, but from what I heard from your little conversation, "You both were planning to do that. You could have just told me, I would have given you my leftovers."

Kay was about to apologize, but when she heard the word, 'leftovers,' she didn't.

After a moment of silence Bella spoke. "I knew about it, and I left after finding out that i was pregnant. I'm sure you want to have a child as well; and we are at the hospital, so are you going to take the test?"

"Have you forgiven me? Why do you treat me this well after finding out what I did?"

"I haven't forgiven you. I will once you are truly sorry." 

Bella knew Kay and she wasn't planning on getting her guard down. If Kay decided to do something again that would hurt her or her family, she would pay. That revenge was merely just a taste of what she could do to them. If they decided that they want more, she would gladly give it to them. 

The sisters then entered the hospital and after Kay did the test they went their separate ways.

It was around six in the evening when Bella got home. After parking the car in the garage she walked to the patio where she saw someone standing in front of the patio looking up on the second floor, seeing that it was Adane Bella walked towards him wanting to give him a hug from behind, When she was close, he turned around. 

David saw Bella walking towards him and was sure she had mistaken him for Adane. He smiled. 

Just as David was about to speak, Bella stopped him, "Who is Katelyn Forbes?" David could hear the anger in her tone. 

'Brother I won't be fixing this one for you.' David thought and was about to laugh, but when he saw how serious Bella was, he refrained from doing so.

"Are you dumb now, Your cheating on her with me right? Why did you turn me into the person I detest most, do you know how that feels."

Seeing that Adane didn't answer Bella turned and was about to walk away.

"Annabella wait."

Bella scoffeed, "It's now Annabella now, huh?"

Bella stormed off.

"It's David, you've mistaken me for my brother."

Hearing what David said, Bella turned to face David. "Are you telling the truth?"

"Lying to you doesn't benefit me. Pushing my brother in the mud won't help me either."

"Why are you here."

"Just came to visit my nieces and nephews."

"Then why haven't you gone inside."

"I was out here thinking about my life decisions, I could have..." When David realized that he was opening up, he stopped.
