28 | DADDY

Adane was stunned. He looked at his two little reflections. The same boys he saw at the mall. He then looked back at Bella with the two little girls, who looked like twins. His mind was puzzled.

"So this how a father ignores his sons when they tug him?" James snorted.

Adane turned back and faced James and Jeremy. He squatted down and faced them. Adane had a smile on his face. 'They just called me their father.' Adane liked that title.

"Where is your mother?" Adane asked.

Jeremy raised one of his eyebrows, "You were just looking at her."

Adane turned his head to look at Bella again. He was in a good mood. Te only thing that got him down was the two little girls beside Bella who looked a year younger than James and Jeremy. Adane didn't think that Camila and Charlotte were his children.

"Jeremy it looks like our father prefers his daughters to us, let's go." James and Jeremy started running to Bella.

"What did you say?" Adane asked with a hint of surprise in his tone as he turned to face them again. At this time they were already gone.

'Are all those children mine? Did Bella have four children at once?' Adane stood there for a while until he couldn't take the suspense anymore. He got up and ambled toward Bella and the children.

Bella was eating another slice of cheesecake when she heard,

"Daddy!" Bella turned in the direction of Camila's voice and saw that she was hugging Adane's leg. Her heart melted by the scene. Charlotte, James, and Jeremy saw that Adane was about to hug Camila and ran to his legs too.

"Daddy!" They all called Adane in Unison. A bright smile was on Adane's face

There were too many of them. Adane could only scoop up James and Camila in both his hands. Charlotte pouted and ran back to Bella, while Jeremy hugged Adane's left leg.

"Mummy, daddy only wants James and Camila. Why didn't Daddy hug me like he hugged them?" Tears started to fill Charlotte's eyes.

Bella hugged her, "Daddy loves you too."

"But, why didn't he hug Jeremy and I liked he hugged James and Camila?"

"Your daddy only has two hands to lift your brother and sister."

Adane saw what happened and tried to put down James and Camila to go to Charlotte but they sucked to him like glue.

"A little help?" Adane called Bella.

Bella lifted Charlotte and walked towards Adane smiling. The moment Charlotte got close to Adane, she wrapped her hands around his neck. Adane didn't flinch. To him, his children were like as light as an ant.

"Hey, I know I'm intelligent, but I don't understand how I am the only one not being hugged. " Jeremey stated.

"I'll hug you." Bella stretched her hands towards Jeremy.

Jeremy ran into Bella's embrace, "At least I know that mummy loves me more than my siblings." Jeremy laughed.

"No!" Camila and Charlotte quickly retorted.

"Daddy," Camila said sweetly.

"Yes, princess."

"Can you let me down?" Understanding Jeremy's plan, Adane agreed and let Camila down. Charlotte also let go of Adane's neck and ran to their mother while Jeremy ran to Adane.

Adane lifted James and Jeremy, James in his right hand and Jeremey in his other. Bella was also holding her daughter's hands with a smile on her face. She was happy the kids finally met their father. The thought of how they knew that Adane was their father never crossed her mind.

"Come here, Bella," Adane called.

Bella walked closer to Adane, her heart tangling with love petals around it.

Bella and Adane were now facing each other, the only thing was that Bella had to look up to meet Adane's charming eyes. They stood in that position for a while with their children in their hands. "Turn around." Adane eyed Bella.

Bella turned around and saw a small table behind her with a bouquet filled with pink roses. Bella took up the bouquet and tears glistened in her eyes. Pink roses were her favorite flowers.

"Thank you for raising my children," Adane whispered in Bella's ears and gave her a light kiss on her earlobe.

Bella's face immediately turned red. She felt as if a small lightening stroked every cell in her body. She liked that tingling feeling.

The scene of Adane whispering in Bella's ears, and Bella bushing was captured by a woman not far away.

At this time, Adane's phone rang. He put down the boys and then took out his phone. The caller ID belonged to his mother, Adane sighed. 'Why is it that when I'm with Bella, that's the time you decide to call me? You just had to ruin the mood.'

Bella looked back at Adane then he answered the phone.

"Hello, Mom. Is there something wrong?"

"Should something be wrong when I call my son? What If I just wanted to check up on how you were doing?" Jane sighed, "Well I have something to tell you, come home now?"

"Aren't you afraid the company will go bankrupt if you keep calling me during work hours?" Adane questioned with a sly smile on his face.

"Its lunch time now, you should be on break. I have something important to tell you."

"Can't you say it over the phone?" Adane wasn't sure if it was another prank they were plotting.

"No! Come home now." Jane commanded.

"Okay. I'll be there in an hour." Adane sighed, then hung up the phone, and put it back in his pocket.

"Is something wrong? Was that your mother? Is she feeling better now, yesterday it sounded urgent." Bella asked looking concerned.

"Everything is okay, she is doing well" Adane smiled. He liked how Bella was so caring. "Come on." Adane held Bella's hand and pulled her out of the park. The children ran behind them.

"Where are we going?" Bella asked.

"I want you to meet someone."

"I have to go back to work in twenty minutes. How long is this going to take?" Bella looked at her watch.

"Not long."

"Okay, make it quick."

They arrived at Adane's black Porsche. Adane opened the back door. "Get in."

The kids readily jumped in.

"Okay, move over so I can sit beside you," Bella ordered her kids.

Adane winked at them and, they stood still.

"Didn't you hear me talking to you?" Bella showed a little anger.

They still didn't move.

Adane pulled Bella from the entrance of the back door and then closed the door.

"What are you doing?" Bella turned and asked him.

"Who told you that you should sit in the back seat?"

"Where should I sit then?" Bella pouted.

"Where you belong."

"And that is?" Bella asked looking annoyed.

Adane leaned over and whispered in Bella's ears, "Beside me, that's where you belong."

Bella blushed and ran to the passenger seat. Seeing her running, Adane burst out laughing.
