"No, mummy would never do something like that." Jeremy commented.

"But we haven't seen her lately and now daddy says she's on a business trip." James sighed.

"Hey, stop with the negative attitude, mummy would never leave us." Charlotte made her stance clear.

"I know you really don't know me that good as yet and I know you guys have other things to worry about, but..." Abby stopped.

"What's wrong Abby, you can tell us." Jeremy looked at Abby with a worried look. They all felt sorry for her but they didn't know how to comfort her. After all, they were just five.

"I wanted to know if I can be your sibling and call your parents my parents. It would take a while for me to adjust, I don't think I might be able to call your mother my mother. But I just want to feel included and to be a part of this family."

Camila went over and hugged Abby, "You are our sister Abby and nothing can change that."

"I don't see anything wrong in you calling our parents your parents, plus this will mean that I have four younger siblings now." James giggled, he liked being recognized as the eldest.

Abby smiled, Charlotte and Jeremy also nodded in agreement.

"Okay we need to find out what happened to mummy." James started back the conversation.

"Asking grandma and grandpa is no use, plus daddy won't tell us anything." Charlotte frowned.

"Who do you think we can call, I know for a fact that mummy won't leave us so something must be up." Jeremy replied.

"Hey, what about Aunt Verona?" Camila smiled.

"Who is Aunt Verona?" Abby asked.

"She is our mother's friend, we've known her since we were born. I'm going to call her." Camila took out her phone and dialled Verona's number.

Verona answered to the call, "What's up my little pumpkin?" she asked

"Aunty, do you know were mummy is?"

"Mhm, yes I know where she is."

"Could you tell me please? We haven't seen her in such a long time."

"Your mummy had to go on a business trip, there was a problem in one of our factories and she went to solve the issue. She'll be back once the issue is solved."

"But why didn't she tell us that she'd be away that long?"

"She didn't want you to worry about her, she also wanted you to have some bonding time with your father." Verona was swift in answering the questions, she didn't want them to think anything was up."

They talked for a while before ending the call.

"I guess, daddy was telling the truth." James sighed.

At the door of the Playroom, David was looking at his nieces and nephews while smiling. Looking at them, he wanted to have his own kids right away. While the children were talking, David opened the door. They were all startled.

'Did daddy here us? Will he be mad?' They started questioning themselves.

"What were you doing?" David asked with an aloof expression.

They started to tremble.

"Daddy, um why did you come back, I thought you said you had something to do." Camila asked.

"I left something and I came back to get it." David answered smiling. He felt being called 'Daddy' was nice, so he decided to play along. "Now, what were you guys doing?" He walked closer to them.

"Did you change your outfit daddy?" Jeremy asked looking confused.

David looked down on what he was wearing then coughed. "Yes." He answered.

James picked up that something wasn't right. He stood up and went over to David, "Daddy, where did you say mummy was?" James asked hiding a smirk.

Abby and her siblings looked at David waiting for his answer. Just as David was about to utter nonsense, Jane stepped into the room and said, "David, why are you messing around with the kids?"

David turned and faced his mother looking displeased, he answered, "No reason,"

David turned back to face the children, "I'm your father's twin brother."

They all looked at David in shock.

"Daddy didn't tell us he had a brother." Camila looked at David in shock. She then looked at Jane to confirm if David was right. Jane nodded.

"Uncle!" Charlotte said as she ran towards David and gave him a hug.

David lifted up Charlotte smiling. "And what may I call this beautiful princess?" He asked.

Charlotte told David her name then whispered in his ears, "Don't tell daddy about what you heard just now."

"What's in it for me?" David asked.

"You will be able to spend quality time with your nieces and nephews, now do we have a deal?"

"I'll think about it." David replied.

Charlotte frowned, "Bad uncle."

At this time a press conference was being held at the AB Hotel. Adane was speaking before a lot of business men, colleges, guest, and the media. He announced that he had just cut all ties with the Forbes group and that he would pay for all liquidated damages based on the consequences of the contract. Questions were being asked, pictures were taken, and there was a huge commotion. After the press conference was over, Adane received a call form Katelyn.

"What's this, why did you..." before Katelyn could continue, Adane answered,

"We have a dinner appointment at seven, we'll speak then." He hung up the call.

At dinner, Adane sat opposite to Katelyn. Katelyn was in a sexy red dress that revealed her cleavage and some of her thigh. Adane was not fazed by this, the only person that was on his mind was Bella.

"Why did you..." Before Katelyn could finish, she was cut off by Adane.

"Let's talk after eating, I don't want to ruin my appetite.

Katelyn hid the frown on her face then started to eat. After their meal was finished they started talking.

"Our engagement is off." Adane started.

"No, it's not." Katelyn looking at Adane with teary eyes. She liked Adane but as far as love, she didn't know. Maybe it was because of his money or his looks, all she knew she wanted to be with him. She was expecting something like this after getting that photo with Adane and that lady, there were also some children in the picture but the lady looked to young, so Katelyn thought that the lady might have been their babysitter. Katelyn knew she had taken care of the problem by sending those men to kill Bella. She had done it so discreetly, it hadn't crossed her mind that Adane found out.

"I wasn't asking." Adane said nonchalantly.

"What caused this change of heart?" Katelyn questioned.

"I don't need to give any explanation."

"But I didn't do anything wrong." Katelyn looked Adane in his eyes.

Adane started to fumble with a napkin on the table. He let out a mocking laugh. "Are you sure about that?"

Katelyn's heart began to race. 'Did he found out?' she asked herself. "I didn't breach the contract, so you have no right to end this engagement."

"You meddled in my personal business; spied on me, and almost killed the mother of my children. Do you call that not doing anything wrong?"
