"I-I I can just take the call and tell the person I'm busy." Stephan began to worry, he didn't know what would Adane think when he saw Bella calling him.

"Did not not just hear what I said? Would you like for me to repeat myself."

Stephan swiftly gave Adane the phone then moved backwards, distancing him self from Adane.

Adane looked at the phone and when he saw Bella's name he smiled, but after realizing it was Stephan's phone his face got vivid.

When the call got through, Bella responded, "Hello, why did you take so long to answer the call? Are you busy or something."

"Why did you call this number and not mine?" Adane answered the call.

Bella became silent.

"Are you there?" Adane questioned after hearing no response.

Adane looked back at Stephan. Stephan knew that Adane could kill him at any second. He began to feel worried. Stephan was about to plead his case when Bella responded.

"I'm at the restaurant and I wanted Stephan to come and pick up the kids."

"Stephan is it? I can't recall you calling me by my first name."

Bella heard jealousy with a mix of anger in his voice. She laughed. "Remember what I said earlier?"

Adane then recalled that Bella told him that if he didn't beg her he would suffer the consequences. He shook his head. "Okay, but is there anything else that you want help with?"

"Not at the moment, we'll talk about that later."

"Okay." Adane hung up the call and gave Stephan the phone. "Go and take up the kids, they are with Bella and her sister."

"Yes sir." As soon as Stephan said those words, he dashed our of the office.

Adane then called David.

Soon David entered the office.

"Trouble in paradise?" David chuckled.

Adane frowned, "Think you know me that well huh?"

"What else would you be calling me for? You don't ask for something unless you really need my help. And I have to help you because the company belongs to both of us."

Adane tossed some files over to David, "I want you to look over these with me."

"Where is your assistant?"

"He went to take up the kids."

"I don't think that was in his job description." David chuckled.

"He is like a friend and he understands me, I also don't mine giving him a raise if he finds my assignments tedious."

"Okay, but I'm doing his work, what's in it for me?"

"Let's just say I owe you one."

"I've just realized that you didn't tell me how you met Bella. I'm quite curious now. You even had kids with her and I didn't know. I thought I would be the one having kids first, not you."

Adane smirked, "let's just say, we made the kids first then we met."

David Scoffed, h then took up the files and started to skim through them. An adoption file caught his eye. He placed the other files on the paper and started to look through the file. "Are you planning on adopting Abby."

Adane looked up a David. "Yes, she has lost too much and I grown to love her just as how i love my children. I don't see why not."

"You have four kids already, I can adopt her." David said bluntly.
