29 | MEET MY PARENTS

Adane got in the driver's seat, started the car then drove off.

"Daddy?"

"Yes, Charlotte?" Adane answered.

"Um, how do you know it was me?" Charlotte asked blinking her eyes.

"That's my secret." Adane smiled. Earlier today, he saw that they were wearing different color watches. Camila was wearing pink, Charlotte, was purple, James was wearing black, and Jeremy was blue. He studied them when he heard them calling each other. Just now Adane quickly glanced at the rare view mirror and saw Charlotte's purple watch when she called him.

"Now, what were you saying?" Adane asked.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

"I love surprises." Charlotte cheered.

Adane smiled, "We'll be there soon," He then looked at Bella. 'You did surprise me. I thought you had twin boys. You didn't mention my daughters.'

After twenty minutes they arrived at the Crawford's mansion.

"Could you wait here for a while, I'll be back soon," Adane said, Bella and their children nodded.

Adane left the car and entered the mansion.

"Mummy, is this where daddy lives?" Camila asked.

"I don't know Cam. You'll just need to wait and find out. Did you like my surprise today?" Bella giggled.

"You should have told us that you found Dad earlier, but I think making it a surprise was a better idea." Jeremy shrugged.

"Mummy, are you going to be with Daddy?" Charlotte asked.

The thought of being with Adane made Bella blush, "I don't know, if you want to know the answer, the best person to ask is your father."

"Mummy, are you underestimating yourself?" James asked.

"Is that how you talk to your mother little boy?"

"No, I was just asking if you see yourself with Dad," James stopped to examine his mother's expression. Bella's face was red. James laughed, then put on a serious face. "Or do you see Dad with another woman living their lives to the fullest?" Bella's face immediately turned pale.

"Shut your mouth little boy, leave adult business to adults."

"I'm sorry." James apologized. His siblings laughed at him.

Bella took out her phone and did a brief call with Verona and told her what was happening. After the call ended, she received a call from Jane.

"Hello Aunt," Bella answered.

"Can I meet with the kids today?"

"I'm sorry aunt, we are a little busy today, what about tomorrow afternoon," Bella replied

"Okay dear, is it possible for you to have lunch with us too?"

"Sure, we can meet at the same restaurant."

"Okay, thanks, bye." Jane sounded happy.

Bella ended the call.

"Aunt Jane wants to meet with us tomorrow, we will go to the same restaurant," Bella told the kids

"Fine with me" James answered.

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

"Alright," Camila responded.

"No problem." Said Charlotte.

They wanted to tell Ben and Jane that they found their father.

Adane entered the living room and saw his parents. Jane ran to him beaming with joy. She hugged Adane, and he hugged her back. Adane looked at his mother, "What is so urgent that you called me here?"

"Can't a mother call her son to hug him?" Jane looked up at Adane and smiled.

"Son," Ben who was sitting on a leather sofa called Adane.

"Yes Dad," Jane released Adane and Adane walked over to Ben.

"Is there something that you are hiding from us?" Ben stopped to view Adane's expression, but his expression didn't change. He continued, "Something from six years ago?"

"I don't recall," Adane replied.

"You don't recall, then what about this?" Ben handed Adane some papers.

Adane took the papers and scrolled through them. On the paper, it had information about him and his children. There were four paternity tests and all the results stated that he was 99.99% the biological father of the kids. Seeing the scientific results his lips formed a small arc. Adane now knew that his parents already met with his children.

He then looked up as if nothing had happened and said, "Is this related to me somehow?"

Ben and Jane looked at Adane as if they were looking at an unfamiliar person. They were both asking themselves if Adane could read.

"I got to go now. Love you, bye." Adane turned around and walked out of the mansion, leaving his parents dumbfounded.

"Benjamin Crawford, what happened to our son?" Jane asked as soon as Adane was out of sight.

"You are asking me?" Ben looked at Jane.

At this time Adane arrived at his car and opened the door for Bella. "I want you to meet someone."

"Can I at least know who we are going to meet first?" Bella inquired.

Adane didn't reply, instead, he walked to the back seat and opened the door for the kids.

Seeing this Bella opened back the passenger door and sat back there. 'Who does he think he is? I asked him this simple question and he ignored me. What does he take me for?'

"Dad, who are we meeting today?" James asked.

"You'll just need to wait and see."

"Bella!" Adane walked back to the passenger door.

"What?" Bella had an irritated look on her face. She was angry, Adane had ignored her question.

"Come on." Adane held out his hand.

Bella stood there.

"If you don't come I'll just lift you up." Adane looked at Bella seriously.

'Like I care.' Bella rolled her eyes, 'He expects me to follow him when he's not answering me?' "Well, you're going to need to do that because I'm not moving."

Before she knew it Adane already lifted Bella in a Bridal position. Being afraid of falling, Bella wrapped her hands around his neck. Bella's mind went black, she completely forgot about Adane ignoring her just a moment ago. She was immersed in his lemon scent.

Adane chuckled, and whispered in her ears, "Do you want me to put you down?"

"No," Bella shook her head.

"Okay, let's meet my parents this way."

"I take back what I said, put me down, put me down."

"Kiss me first. It has been six years since we've kissed, I miss that feeling. I want to remember how it feels."

Adane's words echoed in Bella's ears over and over. Her face was lava red. "I'll d-do it, b-but not now. Just p-put me down please." She stammered.

Adane smirked, "That's a promise," With that Adane put Bella down.

He grabbed Bella's hand and told the kids to follow them.

Bella and her children looked at the mansion, it was huge. The architectural design was ancient but had a modern vibe. The mansion didn't look as if there was an end to it. Different flowers surrounded the mansion and it was quite welcoming.

Adane pushed the door and they entered.

Ben and Jane were standing scrolling through a list of doctors to see if they could find an expert to check on Adane.

When they heard the door open, they turned to face the door and saw Camila, Charlotte, James, and Jeremy standing before Adane and Bella.

"I'm back." Adane smiled.
