Cordelia's P.O.V.

"Sit... Sit... Sunfyre... Good boy."

I beam once I see all three dogs sitting in a line as I hold up a stick. All three dogs are sitting in front of me with their tails wagging excitedly while waiting for me to throw the stick. Grinning at the Vhagar, Sunfyre, and Tessarion, I chuck the stick across the beach and watch them go nuts to be the first one to get it.

I spent all morning unpacking the last of my things and rearranging my bedroom. Though I'm all done now and have the rest of the day for myself. I purposely took today off to get everything in order and settle into the boys' home, but I didn't expect to be finished with it all before noon.

However, I have nothing else I need to do today, so I'm spending it on the beach in the backyard. I'm hoping to train the dogs to listen to me and get comfortable with my presence, which is going well since I have a toy for them to play with. With any luck, the dogs will soon stop surprising me with excited attacks and stop knocking me to the floor.

The radiant sun is shining down as a summer ocean breeze sweeps around me, and there is not a single cloud in the sky. I'm wearing one of my bathing suits and getting a nice glowing tan with sand sticking to my legs. My hair is a wet, wavy mess from swimming in the ocean, but that is the least of my worries.

I've never lived on the beach, but I intend to make the most of it before the semester begins in the next two weeks. I don't know how the boys can do anything else when they literally have the beach in their backyard. If I were the Targaryen brothers, I would spend the entire summer in their backyard.

"Good girl, Vhagar!" I call out when I see her running back to me with the stick as Tessarion and Sunfyre sprint after her. Frowning when I don't see them slowing down as they come towards me, I stumble back and call out. "Wait- Wait, stop... Stop! Sit down! Oh, no..."

Running away in fear of them trampling over me, I shout at them to drop the stick and sit down, but they only chase after me. Rushing into the ocean, I pray the water will slow them down and they won't accidentally make me fall. The four of us race into the ocean with the waves slowing our movements and I sigh at seeing the dogs calming down so they can swim to me.

Vhagar doggy swims to me before dropping the stick in the water in front of me. Grinning at her, I pet her wet head and as Tessarion comes to my side and licks my cheek. Petting Tessarion's snout, Sunfyre suddenly steals the stick in my hand and swims back to the shore.

Vhagar and Tessarion instantly bark at Sunfyre while following him for the stick. Giggling at the sight, I float in the ocean while watching the dogs chase after one another. Going under the water to get my hair all wet again, I can't help but squeal at having a beach right out my back door.

I have a scholarship to one of the biggest Universities in Westeros. I'm living on the beach in the most elegant house I've ever been in... And my roommates have the cutest, most scary dogs I've ever seen.

Can life get any better than this?

"I'm home... Cordelia?"

I announce while glancing around the kitchen and livingroom for anything missing. Nothing looks out of place, but the house is too quiet for my comfort and the dogs should have greeted me by now. The kitchen looks clean, as if Cordelia never made pancakes this morning and I dare say it looks more organized than usual.

Roaming around the livingroom in search of the dogs and girl, I set down the files I brought home with me from headquarters. I gave my mom a lame excuse for needing to work from home today and came back as soon as I could. She didn't even try to fight me on it from knowing I'm reliable, even at home, unlike Aegon.
