Aemond's P.O.V.

"Can you tell me where we are going now?"

Cordelia groans dramatically while taking another bite from her sprinkle chocolate covered donut. Smirking when I hear a tone of begging in her voice, I shake my head and take a sip from my coffee as I continue to drive us through the streets of King's Landing. With one hand on the wheel and the other setting down my coffee, I speak up in a stern tone while fishing for my pack of smokes.

"No. Baby, we're almost there-"

"Please, just tell me. Come on." 

She interrupts me while finishing her donut and digging into the paper bag for another one. Darting my eyes off the road for a second, I pull out a single cigarette from my pack before glancing at her and seeing her seriously deciding on what donut is her next victim. Then, find and eating a chocolate glaze donut with cream filling, she looks out the car windows and whines with her mouth full. 

"We've been driving for almost half an hour. Will you just tell me-"

"Clearly, your last boyfriend didn't spank you enough." 

I snort with playfulness as I put a cigarette to my lips, and my comment causes her to shut up real quick. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Cordelia's skin turn bright red and her squirm in the passenger seat, all flustered. Trying not to look so smug about what silenced her, I light my smoke and mumble confidently. 

"Have patience, baby."

Cordelia huffs with utter annoyance because of my words, which makes me suddenly get the urge to pull over on the side of the road and do what her last boyfriend probably never did. Though knowing we need to be where I want us to be while the weather is still good, I hold back from spanking the sass out of her and keep driving us to our destination. Sucking in the smoke from my cigarette and tapping the ash out my window, I glance over at her to see she's almost finished with her third donut from the Sea Smoke Donut Shop.

After we took a rather long shower together and got dressed for the day, I stopped by Jacaerys's favorite donut shop so we can eat breakfast on the way. I just wanted a black coffee and a kolache while Cordelia wanted half of the donut shop. So naturally, I let her get anything that wasn't powdery and wouldn't make a mess in my car.

"Are we going to a zoo?" 

Cordelia then asks curiously, taking another bite of her donut as she changes the radio station. Frowning at her question for a second, I then wonder if she'd like the Casterly Rock Zoo and make a mental note to take her one of these days. Noticing me driving us out of downtown King's Landing, she asks another question, not caring that I told her to have patience. 

"Are we leaving the city? Oh! Are you taking us to the Tyrell Gardens?"

"Hm."

I hum shortly to show how I won't answer her questions, making her whine dramatically again while taking a sip of her chocolate milk. Rolling my eye with a grin plastered on my face, I take another hit of my smoke and glance over at the girl who's been driving me crazy for the last few months. Sitting in the passenger seat like a princess, Cordelia is finishing up another donut while staring out the window with excitement.

She's wearing worn-out blue jeans with holes on the thighs and knees, a short white tank top, and white sneakers with grass stains. She also has on yellow sunglasses and a pink bandana while her hair is in two messy braids. I told her to dress comfortably for where we're going, but now I'm wishing I told her to wear a sundress for me.

"Okay... I got it." Cordelia suddenly blurts out, not giving up on getting an answer out of me. Leaning in my direction as I break smoke out the window, she asks with that million dollar dimple smile. "We're going to a roller coaster park, aren't we?"
