Cordelia's P.O.V.

"Daeron! Daeron! You got a second?"

I call out while waving my hand in the air and jogging onto the baseball field. A few teammates on the outer fields relax their stances when noticing me stepping on the green and they shout louder than I can to get Daeron's attention. In a matter of seconds, every player on the field stops practicing while yelling at Daeron to turn around and notice me running towards him.

Feeling overdressed on the baseball field with all the players, I stiffly smile and wave thanks at all of them while slowing my trotting pace toward the youngest Targaryen brother to a steady walk. I'm wearing a yellow sundress that is to my lower thighs, and it has cute shoulder ties with ruffle detailing throughout the fabric.

I have on brown sandals and my brown hair is in messy waves, but I did braid a few strands of my hair this morning so it wouldn't look so plain. All the boys in the field are in messy and dirty throw-on clothes for practice, making me feel like I need to hurry and say what I need to say to Daeron. When Daeron finally notices me, he drops his baseball bat and jogs towards me to meet me halfway.

"Hey, Delia. You're out of class early. I thought you didn't get out for another forty-five minutes."

He blurts out with a nervous puppy expression, from thinking he mixed up the times today. My last class for the day ended earlier than expected and Daeron is my ride home, but he's still practicing with his team. However, I texted Aemond after realizing my situation and he said he'll pick me up if I don't mind running a few errands with him.

"Yeah. My professor let everyone out forty-five minutes early." I speak up assuringly how he's right, and he did nothing wrong. Then, waving a hand in the direction of the parking lot, I explain how I worked everything out for myself and he doesn't have to fret about me waiting for him to finish practice. "Don't worry though... Aemond's going to drive me home. He's on his way."

"Alright, thanks for letting me know." Daeron nods his head before asking in that cute, boyish tone. "Do you mind walking the dogs when you get home? Aemond and Aegon never do it."

"Not at all. I'll walk them."

I smile while checking the time on my phone and knowing Aemond should be here any moment now. Backing away from him to get off the field, I wave goodbye just when I remember something at the last second. With my eyes going wide at a thought popping into my mind, I race back over to him and ask anxiously.

"Do you have a costume for Halloween yet?"

"No, I haven't even thought about what I'll be... but I got time. Halloween isn't for another month." Daeron answers with a charmed smirk slipping onto his face before silently speculating about my reasoning for bringing it up. Grinning with my pearl white smile and coming to stand in front of him again, I raise my hands and market my idea for Halloween. "Good... Because I was thinking we could do theme group costumes. You, me, Aegon and Aemond. It will be so cute if we all match while party hopping together on Halloween."

"Uh... Delia... I hate to be the one-"

"Just hear me out. I'm thinking Peter Pan theme. Aegon can be Peter Pan, Aemond can be Captain Hook, you will be a Lost Boy, and I'll be Tiger Lily. I would be Tinker Bell, but I don't have the look for it." I interrupt him hastily after hearing his defeated tone, and I suddenly fear that he is going to shoot down my idea. Taking a step closer to him and grabbing the front of his shirt, I jerk him lightly and add excitedly. "I already found everything we need for the costumes online and Aegon said he'd be Peter Pan."

"... But, Cordelia-"

"Please, please." I then beg after hearing his doubting voice before shaking him sternly, like it will encourage him to do this with me and Aegon. "I've never done group costumes before. The Peter Pan theme is perfect for us. You can be something else if you don't want to be a lost boy-"
