Aegon's P.O.V.

"Aegon!"

Hearing my name getting called dramatically, I shove my face further into my pillow. I don't know what time it is, but it's still too early to be called awake this morning. Taking in a deep breath and trying to stay in my sleepy state, I hear a more tender voice call out.

"Aegon... Aegon. Come on."

Suddenly my bed dips and I feel someone nudging at my back impatiently. Stretching my arms and taking the pushes to my back without a fight, I let out a loud defeated yawn against my pillow before turning recklessly onto my back. Squinting my eyes open, I find Cordelia on my bed beside me with a wide-eye expression with her brows scrunched together.

Letting my tired eyes roam her figure, I take in her cute girly attire and smile lazily up at her. She's wearing faded boot-cut jeans that hug her thighs and hips in the best of ways. Her blouse is a creamy yellow with half sleeves; it's loose around her waist and elbow, but the fabric hugs her breasts and shoulders.

Cordelia's brown hair is in beach waves around her face and it looks like she has a little bit of makeup on. She's wearing her usual homemade bracelets on one wrist with the other wrist bare. Seeing her attire and nodding in appreciation, I snuggling into my sheet and yawn out to her, thinking she wants me to give her my thoughts on her outfit.

"You look cute, sweetheart. Do you want me to see the shoes you picked out?"

"Aegon, we have a class in thirty minutes." She announces without acknowledging my compliment or question. Yanking at my sheet, she says in a bothered tone while trying to keep me awake. "Come on, get ready. It's our first day. We can't be late."

Groaning at everything she just said, I push myself further into the comfort of my bed and pillow. I completely forgot classes start today, but that's only because I always skip the first day. Squishing my face into my pillow, I then remember I still haven't mentioned my family's dynasty to Cordelia.

Aemond's going to kill me... Oh, well.

"I'm not feeling well, honey." I lie from not wanting to face today since I know exactly what will happen. "Have Daeron or Aemond take you to school."

"You are not sick, Aegon. You're just hung over." Cordelia snaps while yanking more of my sheet off me. "I also told them you'd take me and they already left for their classes."

"Cordelia..." I groan dramatically from hearing the situation she put herself in. Patting her thigh lazily like it will have her leave me alone, I mumble while trying to go back to sleep. "Call Aemond. I'm sure he'll come back and pick you up."

"No! Aegon, you can't miss the first day. Get your ass up!" She snaps at me before shoving at my side, determined to keep me awake. "Come on, please!"

Letting out a frustrated breath, I frown into my pillow at knowing how today is going to go. I'm going to get a crook in my neck from sleeping on the desks in my classes, all the while someone is going to drop the bomb on Cordelia about my family. Then she's going to stomp through campus to get to me and be all mad at how I didn't tell her before she moved in with me.

I could fix the problem of her being upset with me by just writing a check, but I'll still get a crook in my neck from sleeping through the lectures. Also, the first day is always pointless to me and there's no reason for me to go. Well, there is one reason, and she's shoving me rudely in the back right now.

"Get up. Get up. Come on, Aegon." Cordelia whines when I play dead in my bed. "Please, please. Please, Please-"

"No. Cordelia. No." I groan out furiously that she is not just letting me do what I want, like everyone else. Lifting my head and glaring at her, I snap with an attitude I've never used with her. "No. Text Aemond or Daeron. I'm not driving you. End of discussion."
