“What are you doing here?” Athena fired with rage, she was putting on a one arm black body-con dress which also reached her mid-thigh.

She reached out to me when Kayden pulled her arm back while she glared at me furiously while I smirked at her. I studied, her eyes raked me from head to toe.

“I'm sure you don't even have an invitation card, how did you get here?” She seethed angrily.

“Dumb!” I hissed out while her eyes shone widely, I noticed those around us had stopped with whatever thing they were doing and stared at us while I kept my glass of drink back on the table.

I unlocked my purse and brought out an invitation card, “Well, if I don't have an invitation card, do you think I'd be here anyway?” I asked her sarcastically, twirling the card in between my fingers at her face, as she became pale immediately.

“And thanks to my friends here,” I smirked, turning to Ivy and Ariana as I arched a brow at them to also play along, which they did.

“Yes, baby!” Ariana suddenly said and walked closer to me, wrapping her hands around my waist.

I turned my gaze back to Athena, victoriously glanced at Kayden who was staring intensely at me as I caught his jaw twitched slightly.

“You bitch!” Athena fired trying to move closer to me, but Kayden pulled her back and wrapped his arm around her waist, trying to calm her down.

“Athena! Take it easy,” He told her, while I smirked at the both of them.

“Woah! Woah! Who do we have here?” A cute guy as tall as Kayden, with dark eyes and curly dark haircut, walked up to us and stared at me.

He beamed at me as he chuckled.

“Woah Kayden, isn't this the nerd girl, Jade, right?” He asked Kayden while I snapped my gaze to him, so he was Kayden's friend too.

“Kai!” Kayden glared at him.

“I am,” I smirked at him.

“Wow! You look so sexy and hot!” He grinned while I averted my gaze to Athena, who was speechless.

“Do you care for a dance?” He asked, staring intensely at me while I gave it some thought.

“Go!” Ariana nudged at me and removed her arm around my waist.

“Sure!” I smiled at him and he beamed at me.

I stared at Athena again and moved closer to her while she fumed, I leaned closer to her.

“I guess you see, I can get every guy's attention in this party and if you're not careful, your boyfriend will join in the trend,” I whispered near her ear.

“You wench!” She growled feeling agitated and Kayden pulled her away from me and I smirked and purposely swayed my hips as I walked closer to Kai who smirked at me roaming his eyes over my body.

I never thought, I would be this bold in my life.

I stretched my left arm to Kai, who gladly took my hand in his.

“Shall we, my lady,” He smiled at me as his lips curled up into a smirk?

“Yes,” I breathed and gazed over my shoulder as Athena was glaring daggers at me, I drifted my eyes to Kayden who also stared at me as his jaw clenched.

I glanced over to Ivy and Ariana as they cheered me on.

I followed Kai to the space created for the dance floor as we began dancing.

Minutes later, I was getting exhausted from the dance and Kai asked if I was tired, and I told him yes.

The music became low, and I wondered what was going on.
