It All Started With A DARE.

Finally, my two weeks suspension was over, and I could enter the grounds of school once again.
I missed school a lot well not the students in the school, thanks to Kayden I wrote my notes that I missed in class, he would come over after school hours and give me notes to write... Occasionally, he helped me out with it and wrote them for me.
I was putting on a nose mask to hide my identity and decided to wear denim blue jeans and a white shirt which I tucked one side at the front and left the other out.
People stared curiously at me, wondering who I was, maybe I shouldn't have put on a nose mask to avoid the attention I was getting now.
I got to my locker and unlocked it, everything was the same way I left it to be, taking out the books I'll be using in classes for the first four periods and I needed to leave here before anyone could see me.
I closed my locker and heard footsteps behind me, I held in some breath before releasing it and turned around, it was Kayden.
"Hey!" He greeted, smiling at me, while I tried to chase him away with my eyes.
"I know it's you, remove the face mask," He smirked, moving closer to me while I stepped back.
I tried to ask him to go away, but his stubborn self seems to be on a mind of its own.
I raised my index finger, pointing behind him, and urged him to look in the direction, which got him perplexed and curious.
He turned his head looking at the way I just pointed, I grabbed the opportunity to get away from him.
I chuckled to myself, as I walked hurriedly through the hallway, and wanted to get into class before he catches up with me.
I was glancing back, trying to see if he was coming up behind me, when I bumped into someone, almost causing my books to fall off my arms, but I held on to them tightly.
"Heyyy, bitch!" A loud voice shrieked out and all the hairs on my body stood up.
"Are you blind or what? Can't you watch where you are going?" That high-pitched voice rang out again, causing me to swallow the lump in my throat.
'Oh mercy!'
I pray it's not who I'm thinking...
I slowly faced my front and saw Athena, the witch who had caused me on having a suspension that wasn't mine in the first place.
Furthermore, I watched how Athena, tried to figure out who I was as she glared and stared at me skeptically, while I swallowed hard.
' It's too soon to start fighting, I just got back,' I cried to myself, staring at her too.
"Why is she even putting on a nose mask?" One of her friends beside her hissed.
"I think she's new, probably shy," Athena's second friend with her spoke, all the while Athena bored holes into my forehead.
"Will you just stand there and not apologize?" Athena fired at me.
Bullying just run through these girls' blood, they didn't even know I was the one standing in front of them, especially Athena.
"Jade," Someone called out in a breathy tone behind me, and I closed my eyes shut, knowing it was Kayden.
Why does he have to soil things up?
I noticed the nose mask yanked away from my face and I shot my eyes open and glared at Athena who held my nose mask staring at me in bewilderment, her eyes widened, before her lips curled into a cocky smirk.
"Well, who do we have here?" She sneered with a mischievous smirk.
