Kao
"Thanks."
I smiled at Caizer as he handed me my order of iced coffee.
We were at a nearby coffee shop just outside the university straight out of our last class.
We just finished another quiz and everyone decided to chill out first before going home.
They actually suggested we go out tonight as our class the next day wouldn't be starting until eleven in the morning.
In normal occasions, I wouldn't be considering the idea of tagging along with them as I did with coffee but this day isn't normal at all-actually, the night before wasn't too.
For one, I'm annoyed at the moment, more annoyed than I could have ever been since I started living at the rich guy's mansion.
And considering how I was so mad at him back then, I was surprised to know that I could be even madder and annoyed at the same time.
I heaved loudly that my friends had to look at me.
"Are you okay!?! You seemed stress."
Caizer turned towards me.
I looked at him the the rest of the guys in our table before I shook my head and smiled.
"Yeah. I'm good. Good. No problem. Haha."
I said as I sipped on my coffee and is it just me or the Americano tastes much bitter than usual?
"Just the other day you were beaming. Now, you looked like you're so close to murdering someone."
Sein commented and I couldn't help but entertain the idea that I might really be wanting to strangle someone at the moment.
Actually, looking back, I might have had that urge since last night with how the tall I had with Pete ended.
"You'd stay at my place in the city."
I heard him say and I blinked.
"Excuse me, what?"
I asked him again hoping I heard wrong.
"I'm finally agreeing to you moving out. As I see it, you have a point. You might just really need a time alone for yourself so yeah, I'm supporting your move."
Pete even smiled at me and only if still wasn't thinking about what he just said earlier then I could have smiled back.
"So I found a nice place just near university. I Alfredo talked to someone and it would be ready by the weekend. Just about right on time with your schedule right?"
I made a face and shook my head before I stood up from where I was sitting on the bed and raised my hands at him.
"Wait up! Wait! Just-! I already found a place. I'll be giving my deposit within the week so we could finalize the lease."
I told Pete who stood up and came up to me.
"Yeah of course. I mean, I'm sure you chose well but this place I found was closer to your university and famous among your university people. I looked into their security too and it's top notch. Twenty four hours service so you'll be safe there. Maybe we could go tomorrow after your class and check it out, what do you say?"
Wait.
What is he saying!?!
I thought we've already established the reason why I wanted to live on my own and he even said he got it, now what!?!
"Also, I've already talked to my friends in the business processing and outsourcing industries, what account and company are you eyeing on? I can have someone arrange your application. And your scholarship--."
