Kao

"I'm gonna let you go, if you could tell me exactly what you're going to do so you could get back to the city unscathed."

I groaned loudly and and ran my hands on my face in exasperation.

I had been debating with this guy for almost an hour now but he still was being difficult about it.

We almost didn't finish breakfast.

Good thing, Kaleb was there to calm me down.

But the moment we were done with breakfast and the jerk excused himself to make some calls, I followed him straight to where we were at his home office and Kaleb was not able to do anything to stop me.

He had to cancel his calls because I stood there not batting and eyelash.

"You have any idea how much my minutes is worth?"

He said the moment he ended his call and regarded me standing by the door.

"I don't. And I don't care. You can go bankrupt and all I would care about is for me to be able to finally go home."

I said as I crossed my hands in front of my chest and regarded him sternly.

He closed his eyes and chuckled as a primary response before he spoke.

"You want to go home you say? Funny, because the last time I checked, you're homeless."

I narrowed my eyes at the guy.

How did he know about that!?!

"Homeless or not, you can't keep me here. You have no right! This is basically kidnapping. And don't think that because you're stinking rich you'll get away with it."

The guy chuckled after he tutted and made a move towards me.

"Stop right there! We don't need to be too close for us to talk. I just want to go home and all you have to do is tell me how. I won't even bother for you to have your underlings bring me."

The jerk heaved loudly before her circled back to his seat and sat there languidly.

"Very well. If you can tell me exactly the way you'll be going from here, I'd let you be."

I groaned inwardly.

He had his men took me here last night, all emotional and scared and under anxiety attack, with the rain and thunder blaring in how did he suppose I would be able to track the way!?!

"Or you could just tell me exactly which way to go."

I glared at him for the nth time like it would work.

"I would do that if I want you to go but I don't, so..."

The guy shrugged carelessly at me and I almost wanted to bash him with chair in front of his table but I stopped myself.

The deep breath I took, brought me back to the present.

"You brought me here against my will with one of your many cars. Why can't you just have the same car drop me off the nearest bus terminal so I could finally go back to the city and get past this bull shvt!!?!"

The jerk just waved his hand at me before answering.

"That's because I didn't want you to go. Didn't I make that clear already!?!"

I groaned.

This time, loudly.

I needed him to know how exasperating he was.

"And why is that!?! Just because you are rich and you seemed to own the world doesn't mean you can own me too. I have a life. It may not have been as good as yours but I'm willing to live with as long as I'm free."
