Chapter 21

I sighed as I shifted Levi on top of me into a more comfortable position and waited for Petra to come back.I heard someone walk in, I looked up expecting Petra but it wasn't who I thought.

"Hi ash!" Hange shouted.

I immediately shushed her and her eyes fell on Levi who was sleeping comfortably on me, his arms wrapped around me.

Hange covered her mouth and started squealing quietly. I gave her a weird look.

"Sorry, sorry." She said, "I've just been waiting for Levi to open up to someone like this for ages, he literally hates everyone."

"Hates everyone? That might be a bit of a stretch-"

"It's not, I took him to a bar one time and he punched a girl square in the face!"

"She probably deserved it."

"He does it with every girl who talks to him!"

"They should stop bothering him then."

"Listen, my point is he doesn't open up to many people, but he did to you so easily! He never sleeps in front of anyone, or shows any emotion. I don't know why but he's already sleeping near you!"

"Hange shush you'll wake him up, your literally shouting."

"Sorrryyyy.." She whispered as she backed out of the room shutting the door as quietly as she's able to do.

I sighed and rested my head back on the pillow. I felt Levi stirr on top of me and lift his head up.

"Morning again." I said softly.

"I fell asleep?"

"Mhm."

"Oh." He said letting go of me and sitting up.

I also sat up next to him as he stretched his arms out in front of him. We just stared at each other not saying a word, out of the silence I said:

"You wanna fuck?"

"mm.. sure." He said pinning me down onto the bed.

"Huh-?!"

"What? You asked me to fuck you."

"As a joke!"

"Too late.." he said kissing me deeply.

I moaned into the kiss as he began to unbutton my shirt. I then lifted his shirt up breaking the kiss to get it all the way off.

I discarded it on the bed and continued to kiss him passionately, him forcing his tongue into my mouth gliding it over mine.

He began pulling my shirt off of my shoulders to my elbows when the door opened.

"Oh shit-" started Petra, "sorry!" She said running out making sure to shut the door behind her.

"Maybe knock next time." Levi shouted after her.

I sighed and pushed Levi off of me.

"Let's get dressed." I said

He nodded and climbed out of bed, grabbing his uniform and starting to change. My face went bright red.

"Why aren't you changing in a different room?!" I said

"What? You've already seen my dick so it's not like it matters." He said calmly as he continued to change.

I sighed and got out of the bed, also getting changed. After getting my clothes on, I was struggling to put on my harness, all those straps and belts were always a pain in the ass.

"Levi can you help me?"

"Sure." He said walking over to me and starting to unbuckle my belt.

"On!" I shouted.

Levi rolled his eyes as he sorted out my straps and belt.

I then put my jacket on and before going downstairs with Levi, I grabbed a mask and put it on.

When I arrived downstairs breakfast was all done with so it was time for training, we walked outside onto the training grounds to see Oluo, Eld, Gunther, Petra, Hange, Moblit and commander Erwin out there.

I picked up a sword as Levi walked away to talk to Erwin. I waved Petra down, she walked over to me and I asked her to spar with me. She nodded also picking up a sword.

I stood before her, sword gripped tightly in my hand as I pointed it towards her and signaled to start.

The sound of blades clashing filled the surrounding air, occasional sparks flew as the blades danced past each other.

"Ash, we need to talk." Said Petra as we sparred.

I sighed and nodded trying my best not to let my guard down as she talked.

"The scar, where did you get it? It looks like it went very deep into your cheek.." she said.

"I.. don't want to talk about it." I said, "not yet."

She nodded as she sent the sword out of my hand, it flew through the air landing with a clink behind me.

"Yes! Take that!" She shouted jumping on the spot.

I smiled and excused myself inside, I made my way towards boys bathroom, when I arrived there I stood before the mirror.

Carefully I removed my mask looking deeply into the mirror at the figure before me. I ran my finger down the scar, wincing at the slight pain from when a knife was ran over it the day prior.

I looked to the draw to see a box, I took it out and examined the label. Black hair dye.

(A/N: I KNOW HAIR DYE DIDNT EXIST BACK THEN BUT I NEED IT FOR THE SAKE OF THE STORY (aka I changed my oc's look lmao)

"Who does this belong to?" I thought to myself as I looked back towards the reflection. I had never cared about what I looked like before, but this time when I looked back I was repulsed.

All I was remind of was the scared little boy I was when I was at the mercy of my father. I'm not that little boy anymore, and I never will be.

I'm not weak and helpless like I once was, this scar is just a reminder of the past. The box in my hand felt as if it grew heavier with every passing second.

My eyes flickered back to the hair dye then back to my reflection. I shrugged and opened the box, maybe this is what will kill that weak little boy for good.

I cleaned the sink of any black remanence with a rag and then threw the stained peace of fabric away.

"Ash? Where are you?" Came a voice as the bathroom door opened, "ash?"

I turned to be met with Levi.

(A/N: I used a base and kinda rushed to get the drawing finished sorry lmao)

"Ash thank fuck-" he said as he hugged me tightly, "don't go disappearing like that, not after yesterday."

Silence settled in the room before he let go of me looking up at me, "what did you do-?!" He asked.

I smiled at him and said, "getting rid of what I once was."

"What do you mean by that."

"I'll explain in a minute, do you know where Petra is?" I asked as I put my mask back on.

He nodded as he led me out of the bathroom.
