Chapter 6

A week had passed and nothing interesting had really happened.

I woke up like that again this morning, I sat up in bed and yawned. I looked at levi who was sat at his desk.

I got up out of the bed, said good morning to him and went to go put my uniform on in the bathroom.

~~timeskip to training~~

Hand-to-hand combat, kind of useless but trainings training I guess. I paired up with Petra, mainly because I really don't want to pair up with the captain, he'd probably break my spine.

Oluo was the only one without a partner. "Good luck tongue biter." I thought to myself as I turned to Petra.

"Ash."

I froze, I knew that voice.. Captain Levi. I turned around and looked at him, I could see Oluo bent in half foaming from the mouth behind him, and of course blood leaking from his tongue, guess they already fought.

"Pair up with me." He said

"Why me sir-?"

"Because you scored the highest in hand-to-hand combat in the cadet core."He replied. I hesitantly said goodbye to Petra and walked over to him.

Almost immediately he grabbed my arm and went to throw me over his shoulder, however I wrapped my legs around his waist to stop him from doing so, which made it so the upper half of my body was over his shoulder.

"Well this is awkward.." I thought to myself as I tried to get out of the position.

Levi quickly dropped me off of his shoulder, spun me around and pinned my arm behind my back.

I struggled for a moment before using all my body weight to send Levi onto the floor with me being dragged down with him.

We both landed with a thud and started trying to immobilize each other in order to win. I was eventually pinned down to the floor with my arms above my head.

"Guess you win." I said

Out of nowhere I heard distant screaming very quickly coming towards us. I turned my head to see a girl with glasses and hair tied into a messy ponytail sprinting towards us, screaming while someone ran after her.

"Section Commander will you PLEASE stop screaming!" He said

"That's the Section Commander?" I thought to myself, "whys she here? And why the hell is she screaming.". That's when I remembered that she was going to stay in the castle with us. I groaned internally as she continued to run at us.

"Leviiiii!!!" She shouted as she reached us, "Who's that!?"

"Go away Hange."

"Answer my question! Why are you on top of him?"

"We were training."

"That doesn't explain why your still on top of him!"

"Tsk, maybe because you ran over here in such a rush?!" He said letting go of my hands and climbing off of me.

I sat up and looked at the Section Commander who's name was, I believe Hange?

"Hi!! I'm Hange Zoe!" She shouted as the rest of Levi Squad gathered around.

I stood up off the floor and brushed the dirt off of me.

"I'll be staying here from now on!" She said, still shouting, "but I think Levi already said that!"

"Section Commander will you please stop shouting..." said her assistant, "anyway I'm Moblit nice to meet you all."

After that we all introduced ourselves.
"Petra."
"Oluo."
"Gunther."
"Eld"
"Ash."

"Oooo, hey ash what's with the mask??" Said hange coming towards me. She was about to pull off my mask when Levi stopped her by grabbing her wrist.

"Enough Hange, go set up your lab or something."

She nodded and ran off with Moblit trailing behind her. "Do they even know where the lab is? Oh well, it's their problem now." I thought to myself.

I started walking into the castle and up into my room. I noticed that Levi was behind me but I didn't care if he was following me, I mean it's his room too.

As soon as I got in I took my boots off and flopped down onto the bed exhausted. I heard Levi walk to his desk and sit down at it. I looked up and locked eyes with him by accident.

"Ash."

"Yes sir?"

"You know about the expedition tomorrow correct?"

"Yes.."

"Just.. promise that you'll be safe." He said, "I need someone to make me tea every morning."

I laughed a bit and nodded, "I promise sir."
