Chapter 46

~~~timeskip of a few years~~~

I woke up the morning of the expedition with Levi laid on top of me. I sighed knowing I had a long day ahead of me and that it was time to start getting ready.

"Levi." I whispered tapping his shouted.

He didn't budge.

"Wake up." I said cupping his face and lifting it up while still tapping his shoulder. He opened one eye and looked at me tiredly.

"mmh?" He hummed tiredly.

"It's time to get up." I said softly.

He mumbled incoherently before laying back down.

"Cmon we have to start getting ready."

"no."

I sighed and pushed him off me before getting out of bed. I then grabbed his ankle and dragged him off of the bed. He kicked me in the head with his other foot.

"Ow! Okay okay!" I said as I dropped him back on the bed.

He sat up and grabbed my wrist, pulling me onto his lap. He checked my head for any injury, found none then kissed me sweetly.

I sighed and got off of him before changing into my uniform. I waited for Levi to do the same before we went downstairs.

We ate our breakfast before saddling up our horses and heading to Trost. People began shouting.

"Look it's Captain Levi! They say he's like an entire brigade to himself!" A civilian shouted.

"Tsk, spare me please." Levi muttered under his breath.

"That scowl will push away your fans." Hange said, "not like it's any of my business but from a public relations standpoint you might wanna rethink."

"Hmph."

The gate began opening.

"Oh can't you just in-vision the horrors in store for us comrades! If we bag an abnormal I'll burst with tears of joy!" Hange shouted.

"We already have an abnormal right here." Levi sighed.

"Wait seriously?! Where?"

"I mean you." Levi said grabbing her hair.

"Move out!" The commander announced.

We all began exiting the gate into wall Maria. We rode for awhile until we came upon a town.

"Our mission for today will be to eradicate as many titans as possible within this city! Tie up your horses and begin!" The commander announced.

I tied down my horse on the outskirts of the city and flew in.
