JOURNEY WITH SAF ACADEMY

DAY- 4: BEGINNING OF PLAN-A

Day- 4 
MORNING DRILL
5.30 AM

TRAINING GROUNDS 
' Kartavya sahas va balidan, desh ke khatir desh ke naam 
Desh ki mitti sar aakho par, desh se hai apni pehchaan' Karan was reciting loudly and all the cadets were repeating after him, running out of breath as they were jogging. 
' Pair rukno na chahiye, bhaagte raho ' Sanjana commanded and everyone started jogging faster. 

They were jogging in circles. Everyday seems long enough and sustaining seems more difficult. But, no one has thought of escaping or running away, except for one. 

' Ha bhai, ab kaa 50 wa round lagaane ke laane naariyal phodno padego? Bhaago saare ' Sanjana commanded. 

' FASTER!!' Faizi too. 

AFTER MORNING DRILL
MESS 
BREAKFAST TIME 
As usual Kabir has made the breakfast. A few days more and their punishment will be over. In the meantime, all are busy having food, Sid seems preoccupied. 
' Sid, kya soch raha hai?' Sumanji asked him as he wasn't eating but seemed lost in thoughts. 
' Huhh.. nahi, kuch nahi ' he said while keeping the fork down on his plate and getting up to leave the mess. Monami felt that something was wrong but talking in front of everyone did not seem right.
' Monami, Siddharth kuch tension me lag raha hai, tum logo ka #jhagda hua kya?' Chitra asked while sipping her orange juice. Monami simply shakes her head. 

IN BATRA SIR's CABIN
' Tumhare pass koi naya plan hai? ' Batra Sir asked Karan as his previous plan of involving the cadets did not seem right to him. But it looked like he had changed his mind and he was ready to give them a chance. 
' Sir, I think hume Plan A ke saath hi continue karna chahiye. Humari search team ki taraf se special tip aayi hai Sir, 3 din ke baad Deolali ke outsskirts me ek nightclub hai jo kai mahino se under renovation tha, wo khulne wala hai aur wahapar next bidding hone wali hai ' Karan spoke while showing the destination on the map. 
' Bidding? Tumhe to agents ko pakadna tha na ?' Batra Sir asked. 

' Sir, ye wahi agents hai jo pichli baar alert hokar bhaag gaye the. Isiliye iss baar ye log Deolali ke outskirts me trading kar rahe hai. Sir hume inhe range haatho pakadna hoga taaki police aur media ko enough evidence mil jaaye' Karan replied. 

' Ok. Cadets ko mai inform karoonga ' Batra sir informed Karan. 
' Also Karan, aaj saare cadets ko outdoor trip ke liye lekar jaao ' Batra sir continued. 

' But sir unki training ka kyaa?' Karan asked somewhat surprised. 
' Ye academy hai Karan. Also mujhe Faizi ne bataya hospital me kya hua. They need a change of environment. Inn logo ko thoda aur time lagega academy ko aur humare taur tariko ko apnaane me ' he spoke with a smile because he knew what Karan was thinking. 

Meanwhile, Karan could not help but oblige to his senior's orders. He simply nodded. 

The lectures were over and  they also had to submit their assignments today. Some cadets did. Some did not. Sid was about to leave the class but Monami pulled him. 

' Kya hua tujhe, Subah se dekh rahi hoo..khoya khoya lag raha hai. All good?' she sounded concerned. 

' Monu yaar..ek baat bolu. Yaha ki life army life se kam nahi hai yaar. Bus wo olive uniform aur dog tag ki kami hai' he spoke in exclamation. 
' I don't get it ' Monami was confused. 

' Monu mai....' before Sid could continue he heard the voice. THE GRIM REAPER's VOICE.

' Ha bhai, chal, teri extra training ka time ho chalo hai' . It was Sanjana. Standing on the door. The light behind her made her shadow fall on the floor and appear big. 
' Oh Shit!!!' Sid exclaimed before running out of the class. 
' Iske dimaag me chal kya raha hai ?' Monami thought to herself. 
Sid was not able to understand why he has to go through all this. He was following Sanjana to the gymjhaana when Sanjana got a notification on her phone. It was a message from Batra Sir, to gather all cadets in the auditorium as he has some important announcements to make. She takes a  turn and comes face to face with Sid who was following her. She cocks an eyebrow at him and he foolishly smiles. 

' Hatt na ab ' she speaks in an annoying tone. He doesn't understand it and she punches him aside and  starts to go towards the auditorium. 
' training nahi karni kya?' asks a confused Sid. Sanjana turns around to reply,
' Batra sir ne bolao hai' and continues walking and Sid follows her. 

IN THE AUDITORIUM

' Cadets, aaj mai ek important announcement karna chahta hoo jiske liye maine aap sabko yaha bulaya hai. Aapki ab tak ki training ko test karne ke liye humne aapke liye kuch tasks design kiye hai. Humare commandos yaane ki aapke trainers ne ek test banaya hai aapko abilities to check karne ke liye. Agle 3 dino tak aap sabko iss test ke baare me bataya jaaega aur train kiya jaaega. 3 din baad live test hogi aur aap sabki performances record hongi. Don't worry, ye aapke curriculum ka hissa nahi hai. Aap jo sikh rahe hai usko real life situation me use karna bhi to aana chahiye na. Also, ek important notice. Aaj aap sab log outing ke liye jaaenge. Academy me aane ke baad  ye aap logo ki pehli civil outing hogi. Just enjoy and relax yourselves. Have a good time.' Col. Batra spoke while everyone listened. His voice had command but it did not sound strict. He had a way with words and in his service he had earned a lot of respect from his peers. Which is why the program of ' Ghar Ghar me Soldier' was given to him. 

All the cadets were very excited hearing about the outing. Since, joining the academy they hadn't had a good outing. But Koel looked anxious. If she goes for an outing , Nikhil will be left all alone. While Sid looked happy but he tried to hide it. Finally. This could be his chance. to. escape . forever. 

Will Sid be able to escape? 
Will Koel's secret be out?
Will Monami be able to stop Sid?
