Hero 101

You are woken up by the sounds of an alarm and as you get up and make sure you are fully awake and okay you realize that you had slept for quite awhile as you then head towards the alarm and you find out it was the Legions normal drill practice in case of emergency's.

And from what you could tell no one was happy about doing it as they were all either tired, hungry, bored, or annoyed at doing them as the Leader walked back and forth telling them all what they had done wrong and how long it took them to get ready while also listing off everything bad that they could think of would happen with them not being punctual.

Leader: "And you (Points towards you) Do you have any idea how late you were to this and it seems like you couldn't care any less about your own survival or the survival of the team."

You were a bit surprised when he started talking to you like that cause you haven't even fully joined the Legionaries and you are already getting a scolding from their boss while from the corner of your eye you see both Clark and the girls that you were with all laughing making you feel super annoyed and a bit angry at being treated like a child.

When the Leader finally got done scolding you he then told everyone to disperse and except for a few members as they would be helping to train you and make sure you don't fall asleep while learning again or miss any more meetings while also checking the progress on your training.

And so, you spent an entire week with different people all making sure you learned everything that you could about modern day society while also having your powers and body trained to the point that you were constantly forced to break your limits.

And the only thing that gave you any form of comfort was when you were eating and resting as it allowed you to rest for a bit and talk to the girls and Clark about random things and get to know them better and what they were doing while you forced to push yourself beyond your limits or what they liked to call "light training".

You: "If they call this light training, I hope I never move up to normal or hard training I think I might break if that were to happen."

Ghia'ta: "I love that hard-working nature of yours, but you are going to have to work harder if you want to continue living free in this world."

Per Lynn: "Well the harder you work now the better you will feel later."

Clark: "I really can't relate I've pretty much been like this my whole life, and I only needed to get better with my powers and controlling them for a bit."

After saying that you and the girls both look at him with an annoyed look in your eyes as he just chuckles softly before then cleaning up and getting out of there as fast as he physically could which was really fast.

You all then looked in awe at how fast Superman could go when he really felt like it as you then finished your plate before then being dragged away by both of them so they could train you in the different ways a Lantern fights and help you learn more about them in general first hand.

When you reach their shared room, you notice that the room is both very pink and very green and they have symbols of their corps as they then call forth their "power batteries" as they called it to you it looked like green and pink lanterns floating in air.

They both then start chanting some words that sound kind of familiar to you.

Ghia'ta: "For hearts long lost and full of fright, For those alone in Blackest Night, Accept our ring and join our fight. Love conquest all...With Violet Light!""

Per Lynn: ""In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power--Green Lantern's light!""

You then see their rings glow as they then look over at you as Per Lynn brings you over to her lantern as Ghia'ta looks angry and annoyed as Pery Lynn then guides your arm towards it as she then begins whispering you the words.

You: "In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power--Green Lantern's light!"

You then feel something and you saw a green light glow from your wrist but it was not as bright as Per Lynn's as you then see the giant green glow from your wrist start to spread towards the center as it then goes towards the other rings and light them up as well and the same thing happens when you do the pink lantern thing again as well as both girls being a bit annoyed when you don't get a full charge for some reason.

As they sulked you then asked them what that was all about which cheered them up for some reason as they then began telling you all the general information that anyone could get on their corps and the all the other ones while pointing towards the rings in his bracelet.

When the explanation of all the different corps finish and you get a mini test on each off them when they ended and an overall test when they finished telling you everything they knew and could about them it was late into the night and you were escorted back to your room by one of the female legionaries while for some reason the Per Lynn and Ghia'ta looked sad and a bit disappointed as they went to bed as well.

After getting thrown into your room you then made a little diorama of everything you just learned as you made the planet that you could consider home world to the bracelet.

You: "If each ring sends the wielder to their home planets why did mine send me to a place that barley had anyone on it."

And after trying to come up with an answer you just gave up and turned on your computer as you began learning more about the different things that happened to this world while also learning more about the heroes and villains who helped to shape it too how it is now before you then went to bed.
