Blood splashing around..

The screams of other..

Darkness..

Than Magnus covered in blood..

Magnus!

Alec shot up his eyes opening immediately, sweat dripping on his forehead tears dripping down his cheeks. His breath uneven. A dream, Alec. It's just a dream. He took a few moments before lying back down closing his eyes. All he could do was toss and turn around, every time he closed his eyes he saw Magnus lying there covered in blood. Dead.

Eventually he got up from the bed quietly not to wake up Magnus, he then pulled a grey sweatshirt on and left the room. He headed to the roof. He loved the roof. It was the only place he could feel at some what peace even tho it wasn't really peace. He was just left alone with his toughs which weren't that peaceful.

What if I can't protect my family?

What if I won't be able to save the love of my life?

What if I screw up?

What if one day I won't be there when Magnus needs me the most?

What if...

"Alexander? What are you doing here? You'll catch a cold if you stay out here, come back to bed with me," Magnus stood standing against the doorframe, patiently watching his boyfriend.

He waited a moment, Alec not responding just watching in the distance tears running down his cheeks. He was fighting so hard not to let any sob come out, but he could to fight every single one of them off so he let out a strangles sob.

"Alexander, darling, what's the matter?" Magnus asked.

"It's..it's nothing, go back to sleep," Alec replied whipping his cheeks.

"Oh, Alexander, you do realize how miserable you are right now, don't you? I'd never leave you alone, especially after you had one of your nightmares, I'm not so oblivious as you think. I love you. I love you so, so much and I hope you know that."

Alec just nodded in response, he didn't really have anything to say. Magnus sat down next to him and grabbed his hand interlocking their fingers. He place suis other hand under Alex's chin making him look at him.

"Alexander, talk to me."

Alec let a few more tears slipped as he tough back against at the same image, "I just..I can't stop seeing the same I-image. And-and it won't stop."

Magnus was at lost for words, he didn't really know what to say so he just bring Alec in a hug. Alec let the tears fall freely and the sobs escape his lips. They came coming and he felt as if all his emotions were getting out of him

and it felt quite fucking amazing.
