it was getting hard to breathe, dream winced as he tried to sit up. it hadn't even been that long, surely he could handle it.

it was a bad dysphoria episode, one that would only end up in him getting seriously hurt.

he had finally figured out how to make his chest as flat as he could possibly get it, why would he wanna change that?

his binder was hurting him, he couldn't think straight. his head hurt and his vision was blurry. he didn't understand anything that was going on?

dream's head was pounding, he felt his eyes close as the pain in his chest slowly increased by the minute. his wrists were scarred, as well.

the pain in his entire body was too much, it was so hot in his room even with the air conditioner on full blast. all he wanted to do was be okay.

he took a breathe, his ribs were starting to hurt. his everything hurts. his ears rang when someone knocked on his door.

with a shaky voice he said, "what?"

dream once again winced as he felt the pain in his chest get tighter, finding it even harder to breathe than it previously was.

"can i come in?" his boyfriend and best friend asked from behind the closed door.

he nodded, before realizing the younger couldn't see him. "come in, please." his voice didn't come above a whisper.

the brunette had opened the door now, to find his mess of a boyfriend crying on their shared bed.

"dream- dream what's wrong?" he rushed over after he had shut the door.

dream looked up at his love. "everything hurts, sap. everything hurts so much."

the shorter put his arms around the blonde, pulling him as close as he could get. "binder?" he asked to receive only a nod.

"give me one second, okay love?" sapnap whispered, before getting up to go grab one of his hoodies for the boy.

sapnap came back with a hoodie in hand, dream looked up at his boyfriend before freaking out. "no- no i need the binder sap please."

sapnap felt his heart break at that, "my love, its been on for so long, please just take a break it's clearly hurting you."

dream whimpered, he knew that sapnap was right. he let his eyes close, he was tired anyway.

he felt his binder come off, burying his face into a pillow as the hoodie slid onto his body.

it took not long until sapnap was right in the bed with him, holding him as tight as he could.

dream forgot about all that hurt, his head, his back, his chest, and just say there, in the arms of the love of his life.

"i love you."
