Nightmares

Draco started waking up as his husband wouldn't stop moving. He groaned as he looked over at him; sweat had builded up on his skin, tears ran down his cheeks, he moved around as he whispered, "No! Stop! Please no!"

Draco sat up before shaking Harry a little trying to wake him up. On the first try it didn't work, but on the second Harry jolted awake tears streaming down his face as his breath became quicker and quicker.

Draco quickly pulled his husband in a tight hug from behind as he whispered, "Shh, you're okay Harry. It's just a Dream, you're okay."

Harry gripped Draco's arms that were wrapped around him firmly as he cried, strangled sobs escaping his lips. He really did try to calm down, but he just couldn't. The images were playing on repeat in his head. He let more tears fall as Draco hold him tightly trying to calm him down.

A few more minutes later Harry had stopped hyperventilating, but tears streamed down his eyes. Draco continued to play with Harry's hair in hope to calm him down.

Harry was laying his head on Draco's chest letting out sniffles and hiccuping. The images still running trough his head, but he tried to fight them off.

"Want to tell me what happened?" Draco asked.

Harry took a shaky breath before nodding. He took a moment before starting to explain, "I.. j-just it was about S-Sirius..this m-morning I read the p-paper and th-there talking about h-how he d-died."

Draco listened carefully before kissing Harry's forehead. "It's okay, love. It's normal to have these types of nightmares, just remember I'll be here when you wake up, okay?"

Harry nodded slightly still shaken up from the dream he had moments earlier.

"Do you want to try and sleep?" Draco asked.

Harry immediately shook his head. There was no way he would sleep. Not after what just happened. He can't sleep he can't ever sleep again!

Draco let out a quiet sight before saying okay. He would stay up with him even tough it was only one am and they both had work tomorrow morning.

It's been two days since Harry had the nightmare and since then he hasn't slept. He refused to sleep in any circumstances even if Draco tried to make him sleep he would just refuse. It wasn't healthy, it was actually getting dangerous.

It was now night and Harry had his eyes wide opened as Draco was laying eyes closed next to him. Harry heard his husband sight before sitting up and talking, "Harry you have to sleep. You can't just not sleep your whole life."

"Watch me."

Draco sight before pulling Harry down with him. "Well you might not sleep, but at least cuddle with me," Draco said kissing Harry's forehead.

The blonde knew what he was doing. He knew Harry would eventually fall asleep if he was cuddling with him and just like he predicted Harry fell asleep. Without any nightmare.
