George woke up not feeling his husband's warmth against him anymore. He got up looking around the house, first the living room. Nothing. Then the kitchen. Again, nothing. He walked passed the bathroom stopping in his tracks.
The bathroom light could be seen from the crack under the door. George pressed his ear against the door listening carefully, Clay was...trowing up.
The older boy softly knocked on the door, "Clay, I'm going to come in in five seconds."
He didn't expect an answer. He knew he wouldn't get one, but he always made sure to let Clay some time before opening the door to not startle him or make him uncomfortable. He started counting in his head to five.
One..
..Two..
..Three..
..Four..
..Five
He twist the doorknob revealing his husband kneeled over the toilet bowl, two fingers shoved in his mouth making him gag and trow up everything he ate. Tears rushing out of his eyes.
George sight making his way to him holding his hair back. He was indeed due for a haircut. Not the time George.
He knew he wasn't going to stop him, he needed to finish it this time. He was already to deep in to stop now anyways. He had managed to stop him some times before, but other times he was too late. Just like this time, he was too late.

Clay was laying his head on George's chest cuddled up in bed barely tucked under the covers. George gently passed his hands trough Clay's hair. Taking in the soft smell of vanilla Clay gave off. George had always loved that about him. It felt like heaven every time he would hug him.
They hadn't spoke since the scene George had found Clay in a few minutes earlier. He knew he had to let him talk on his own, if he would force him it would startle him making him feel more guilty than he probably was already feeling.
You have to let people come talk to you on there own. Forcing them just makes them shut you out making them feel bad about them self. And when they do that bad things can happen, things you never tough would happen or maybe you did think it would but hadn't given much tough to it. You have to be careful while talking, but you also have to speak your mind remembering there a human being and not something that will break at any given moment.
A few more minutes passed when the younger decided to speak, "I didn't want to wake you up."
George made sure to use the right words before answering, "It's okay. If you didn't want to I won't force you. Just remember, I won't ever be mad at you if you do no matter what time it is, no matter if we went to bed angry. I will not be mad." He added an other sentence, "I love you." He kissed the others forehead.
"I love you too," Clay almost whispered.
Using the right words was a wise choice George. What would have happened if you haven't? Would he hurt himself more than he already is? Would he try something bad? Would he run out crying? Maybe he would say nothing, but suffer slowly in silence destroying himself little bit at a time. You could never know. You just have to try and if you spoke from your hearth and not your head it should be okay.
