The work day began less than 30 minutes ago but the store was clean and organized. This never happened at Family Video's history, and for stupid it sounds Steve was proud with that.

The bell door rang and he's putting his salesman face when he saw Robin discussing something with Dustin, the girl putting up her green work vest. Steve wore a cocky smile to her and said "So, Ms I'm-Always-On-Time, who said I couldn't organize the store before nine?

Robin stopped and looked around; Dustin couldn't care less. She said "No bad, Harrington. You finally organized by genre and not by how hot the actress on the cover is."

"You know, I have my responsabilities, and even that sometimes I don't take this job serious I –" Steve shut when he saw Robin and Dustin looking at him with their mouths hang open. He started to pass his hands on his face, searching for anything that could cause that comotion. "What, guys?"

The pair walked straight to Steve and stared at something below his face, and Steve started to get worried. And then Dustin touched his neck side. Robin let scape a laugh.

"Is that...a hickey?" Dustin asked.

"A hi...?" Steve walked to the convex mirror and looked it up. Close to his jaw line there's a red-going-to-purple hickey. "I cannot believe. That..."

The bell door rang again, not letting Steve finish his sentence again, and the three of them looked to the person. Eddie was smiling, and his bright smile turned up to a curious one.

"Morning. Is this a meeting or...?" Eddie asked, walking backwards.

"No, no. Come on in, Eddie." Invited Steve, nodding to him.

"Steve has a hickey!" sang Dustin, almost laughing.

Eddie shared a look with Steve, and then put his eyes on the evidence, and bit his low lip. "Harrington, what a dog." he crossed his arms, fun dancing on his eyes.

"Ok, ok, let him tell us who's the vamp." Robin walk around to the balcony, getting to Steve's side, and she poked her friend.

"I can't believe he didn't tell me, his best friend, about this date he had last night." Dustin now sounded outraged.

" You ? His best friend?" Robin looked at the boy not believeing him. "Since when?"

"We know each other way before you two."

"Wait -"

"You two, shut up." Steve needed to end this. He's seeing Eddie in the background, laughing in silence. "First of all, how do you know this is from last night?" he looked at Dustin, but before the boy could speak he rose up a finger and added "Know what? Don't wanna know, never wanna know. Second of all, I can have two best friends."

"Dustin and Robin are your best friends? Awesome." commented Eddie, walking around the horror movies.

"What are you doing here, by the way? I thought you only woke up after 10." asked Dustin, turning around to the D&D master.

Eddie didn't look to his face. "Just browsing for some movies. Don't wanna be here with a big crowd."

"So" Robin gave her attention again to Steve. "you aren't gonna tell us who gave you this hickey?"

"Sorry, guys, but I don't kiss and tell." Steve shrugged, nonchanlantly.

"You kiss and tell big time, Steve! This is your brandmark!"
