Walking up de stairs with his duffel bag, Chihiro only knew one thing: he was scared. It's not like he thought that Mondo was going to do anything to him, even with the recent motive. He trusted Mondo, after all that was the reason, he was here now and not in his room. It was more about how Mondo would laugh at him or say that he could never be a real man. There was also the logical part of him that knew that would never happen, after all, he's Mondo!

He was pulled out of his thoughts when he reached the top of the stairs. From here, it would be a straight line to the changing rooms where Mondo was waiting for him, but just as he went to walk towards the door of the boys locker room, he heard a sound of something falling. The boy looked around franticly, to only find nothing. He realised it must have been somewhere else on the floor.

He wanted to pretend he didn't hear the sound and just continue, he was already nervous enough, but there was also a part of him that wanted to check it out. While it was hypocritical, nobody was supposed to be here, except him and Mondo that is.

The sound looked to be from somewhere else on the floor. He knew it couldn't be the locker rooms or swimming pool, it sounded too far away for that. The only logical places here would be; one of the two classrooms or the library.

He decided that it would be the best to check out classroom 2-A first, since he would have to walk past it anyway if he wanted to check out the library and classroom 2-B.

He saw nobody in the classroom. The tables all stood the same and it didn't look like anything was missing. After deciding that the sound couldn't have come from here, he continued on to the library.

Before he went in there, he could already see something was off: most of the time, the doors were closed, even if somebody was in the library and while the doors were not fully open, just open enough for Chihiro to put his hand through, it was weird to say the least.

Slowly, he opened the library doors and immediately saw somebody sitting at one of the tables with a lamp next to him; Byakuya.

He didn't look up from his book, but even with the dim lighting, Chihiro could see the annoyed expression on his face.

"Toko, I told you a million times not to bother me,"

So, he must have thought that he was Toko, which did make sense, since she was always around him, must to the disgust of the latter.

"Uhm... I'm not Toko," Chihiro said, already regretting his decision to come in the library.

"Oh, it's you, mind to tell me why you are interrupting my reading?" Byakuya said, finally putting his book down and looking at Chihiro, the same annoyed look still present.

"Well... I was going to the lockers when I heard a sound. I just wanted to check if anybody was... hurt."

"While I was reading, some books fell of the table. Now that you got your answer, can you leave? I assume you have somewhere to go," he said, eyeing the duffel bag on Chihiro's shoulder.

"I'm supposed to meet with Mondo, but..."

"But, what? If you are supposed to meet with him, why don't you just go? I, for once, want to get back to my reading, without being interrupted."

Byakuya was right, he should just go to the locker rooms and meet with Mondo, after all, he was the one that asked Mondo to meet him, but truth be told, he was still scared. It was like there was a part of his mind refusing to go, like it was going to end up badly for him and while Chihiro tried to ignore it, it was becoming harder, the longer he stayed here.
