It was weird, investigating alone. Normally, Chihiro always had someone with him. But now he was alone.
All alone.
And that was weird- unnatural. But it wasn't as if Chihiro could change that. So, here he was, investigating by himself.
He first went to check out the garden, where Mukuro was killed. However, when he entered it, he immediately noticed the body was gone, as if was never there in the first place.
That... was the be expected...
The body was always gone after the trial, so it shouldn't have surprised Chihiro. But that didn't deter him though. He needed to find the truth.
So, he explored every inch of the garden, as he'd done before. He had found nothing new until he came across the dirty tarp. After a closer look he found out it came from somewhere called the bio lab.
There's a bio lab?
It was most likely one of the new areas that had opened up.
Chihiro kept that in mind as he continued to investigate. However, there was nothing else to be found in the garden.
So, he continued his search elsewhere. He was for the most part just roaming around, hoping to across someone or something.
It was during this he ended back up at the first floor, but as he walked around something was different.
The other staircase was no longer behind a metal gate.
That was exactly what he was looking for!
With a smile on his lips, Chihiro walked up the staircase, finding himself in what looked to be another dormitory... Though, this one was absolutely destroyed. Rubble was everywhere.
Though, he didn't let that stop him. The programmer carefully walked through the halls filled with rubble.
He came across a room filled with lockers, and while they looked like they could be opened with a E-handbook, his didn't work on any of the lockers.
He left the room soon after and began to walk a bit further.
it was then he saw Byakuya. It seemed like the heir had just come out of a room and he was holding something.
Kyoko- who Byakuya had gone investigating with- however, was nowhere to be found.
"Byakuya!" Chihiro greeted excitedly, happy to see his friend, "W-where is Kyoko?"
The blonde turned to look at him, slight surprise covering his face for a moment before it disappeared. "She's still inside, investigating," He answered, though it almost sounded like he was hiding something.
Chihiro decided to ignore that for now. "So, you're waiting o-on her?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Not necessarily. I believe she'll be in there for quite some time..." Byakuya responded, something in his eyes that Chihiro couldn't quite decipher.
"O-oh..." Chihiro said, his eyes traveling down a bit. "W-what's that in your hand?" He asked.
"Oh, this?" Byakuya asked, holding the item up. "It's a handbook that we found. It most likely has no limitations, so it's quite the useful tool," He explained with a slight smirk.
Chihiro's eyes widened as he heard that. "Really? I-I think I know something that it can be used for!" He said, excitedly. "I found this locker room, b-but none of the lockers would open using my handbook..."
