Chihiro and Taka walked to the warehouse in silence. While it wasn't necessarily uncomfortable, it wasn't pleasant. There was still something so very off with Taka.
Luckily, they reached the warehouse soon enough.
Chihiro hadn't been in there since the second investigation and quite honestly, he was glad.
It was, after all, the last place he saw Celeste, only a few hours before her death and Chihiro still couldn't help but think that it was somehow is fault.
What would have happened if he went to Mondo as planned? Would Celeste still be alive? Would he-
Chihiro cut those thoughts of before they got worse. Now was not the time.
The warehouse mostly looked the same since then, with only a few minor things being missing or in other places, probably having misplaced by other students in the meantime.
As the two of them began searching through the many boxes (with Chihiro making sure to not make the mistake of opening up that box again), Taka spoke up after a while.
"Chihiro," He began, rummaging through one of the boxes in the back while Chihiro looked on the middle side. "Is there anything in particular you're looking for?"
"Um, well not really. M-maybe a few more tracksuits and pants or something..." Chihiro responded, a frown appearing on his face when he only found Monokuma plushies in a box. He grabbed another box and began looking through it, hoping to find something this time.
"Do you remember where you got your other tracksuit from?" Taka asked after a few seconds of silence.
"N-not really, sorry... All I remember was being... surprised from seeing Celeste. Though I know it was somewhere in these boxes. If only I could remember where..." Chihiro answered, muttering the last part to himself, still finding no clothing pieces in these boxes.
As Chihiro grabbed the next box from a shelf far above him, standing on his toes, he lost his balance and dropped on the floor, box in his hands. A Monokuma plushie from one of the other boxes on that shelf also fell down, right on Chihiro's head, taunting him with that stupid smile.
"I- are you alright?" Taka asked, his head poking out from a shelf, a bit of concern on his face.
"Y-yeah, I just lost my balance..." Chihiro responded, patting his skirt down.
Taka simply gave a nod in response before getting back at looking through the boxes again.
Chihiro opened the box he had set on the floor and found multiple sizes of white tracksuits sitting in the box.
"I found some tracksuits!" Chihiro said happily to Taka, looking through the box to find his own size.
"That's good," Taka said, his voice still lacking his enthusiasm...
Deciding not to think about that too much, Chihiro went back to grabbing boxes, this time the box on the left from the box with the white tracksuits.
This time, he made sure not to lose his balance as he grabbed the box. Carefully, he picked the box up and set it down on the ground before opening the box and looking through it.
In the box were light blue dress shirts, similar to the ones Byakuya wears. He looked through the box to find the smallest size since all of the other sizes would have been way too big. Luckily, this box seemed to have smaller sizes in general and Chihiro found what he was looking for.
He repeated this process with all of the other boxes on that shelf, with varying degrees of success. In some boxes were only bigger shirts while in others there were only other items. In the end he had found multiple colours of dress shirts and tracksuits, though he didn't find anything even close to resembling pants. However, he did find one pair of black shoes that fit him.
