Byakuya's conversation with him left Chihiro confused. Which was practically a given at this point. Every time he talked to the taller boy wanting answers, all he got was more questions.
It was a routine, one that would hopefully stop soon. Chihiro really needed some answers and the only person that could give those to him was Byakuya... mostly because those questions were about Byakuya.
It's not like he didn't trust the blonde, he really did! But the way he had no problems with messing up a crime scene just for some information, didn't sit exactly right with Chihiro.
...Not that he would ever tell Byakuya that. The heir had practically said that he trusted Chihiro and only him! Chihiro couldn't break that trust now... who knows what would happen.
That also meant that he couldn't have Byakuya figure out that he has been trusting Kyoko. The blonde- due to the information he had- was extremely suspicious of her. If he found out about how he had helped Kyoko... about 'Mukuro Ikusaba', Chihiro could lose all of the trust Byakuya had in him.
But it wasn't like he could just abandon Kyoko! Sure, she did some suspicious things... but she was still his friend and he trusted her. He just wanted Byakuya- and the others- to see that!
Chihiro let out a groan as he lay down on his bed. This wasn't the first time he had thought about all of this and he doubted it would be the last. Somehow, every time he was done talking with Byakuya, he felt like he was forced to choose between him and Kyoko, which he couldn't do.
For now, he would just go to sleep, hoping that tomorrow would be a bit easier.
...Which it wasn't. Since Chihiro was awaken in the middle of the night by the sound of his doorbell ringing.
"W-wha?" Chihiro mumbled to himself, barely awake as the doorbell kept ringing.
He tried to rub the sleep from his eyes. "Is that... m-my doorbell?"
Hazily, he stood up and let out a sneeze before opening the door. Looks like he might be slightly sick... but that's something for later...
As soon as he opened the door, a familiar figure walked into his room.
The lavender-haired girl just stood there at first, not saying anything.
"K-Kyoko?" Chihiro managed to say despite his overwhelming confusion.
Kyoko was silents for a moment before answering in a hushed tone. "I'll be waiting for you in the dressing room... See you there..."
And with that, she left. Leaving Chihiro confused once again- at this point it was impossible for him to talk to either Byakuya or Kyoko without being confused at the end.
Still, despite his confusion, he knew he had to go. Whatever it was, it was important. Otherwise, Kyoko wouldn't have come to his room in the middle of the night... again.
Chihiro quickly changed into some more suitable clothes- he wasn't going to do whatever it was in his pyjama's- and walked towards the bathhouse, the dressing room more specifically.
Kyoko, just as expected, was already there when he arrived. She was standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed and seemed to be waiting for him.
This time it was her who broke the silence.
"Sorry for asking you to meet with me so late," She said, though due to her tone it was hard to guess if she actually was sorry or not.
"I-it's okay. We've already done t-this before..." Chihiro answered, fidgeting slightly with his sleeves. They were going to do something important and the programmer couldn't help but be a bit nervous.
