"Come on, bitches! Remember or die! What the fuck happened outside!?" Junko asked in a loud voice.
"I- We don't know!" Hina said with wide eyes.
"This footage..." Taka said with absolute shock on his face.
It seemed like nobody had an answer to Junko's question. Which made sense- nobody remembered anything!
Chihiro had absolutely no idea what to say.
Eventually Junko sighed, "Ugh, boring. The world's been destroyed, get it!?" She shouted.
"Destroyed...?" Kyoko asked with a somewhat pained expression.
Byakuya looked mad. "Explain yourself! Tell us everything you know!" He commanded.
Junko's demeanour turned cute again. "Only for you~ Okay, so, this big, awful, tragic event-they started just calling it the Tragedy-happened about a year ago. It was like a word wide disaster!"
Junko giggled. "In other words... The world has ended!"
"How... can you find that fun...?" Sakura asked, looking appalled.
Junko's expression turned bored again. "Calm down, it's okay. There's no need to panic. Every living person will be dead in a hundred years anyway, so the world ending isn't that big a deal."
"Oh, come on... Now you're just being ridiculous!" Byakuya said, slowly losing his composure.
"Well, as long as we're being ridiculous, I have another ridiculous story to tell you. It's the story of the Togami Corporation, which has given Byakuya's life all its meaning," Junko began, turning her gaze to Byakuya.
The heir's eyes went wide. "What...? What did you say...!?" He asked.
"Well, your entire lineage has been totally annihilated!" Junko said with a grin.
The expression that was on Byakuya's face could only be described as despair. "What? What the hell are you talking about!?"
"I can confirm that his entire family has died, even the distant relatives. The Togami name...has perished," Junko said, her hair back in a ponytail.
"Th-They couldn't possibly be gone! The Togami family is destined to guide the world!" Byakuya said, shaking his head.
"Hell, there IS no world anymore, remember? It got fucked a full year ago!" Junko said in a wild tone.
That... didn't make sense.
A lot of things didn't. Like, Byakuya's whole family being destroyed. But... the world ending a year ago...
"H-Hold on... That doesn't make any sense..." Chihiro said, tearing his gaze away from Byakuya.
Junko tilted her head in a 'cute' way, "Huh? I don't make sense?"
"T-there's no way that happened a year ago... I mean, we only came to this school a few weeks ago..." Chihiro began, trying his best to sound confident. "I-ff some kind of world-ending event happened a year ago...then how do you explain the totally normal world we were living in up till then...?"
Junko picked the Monokuma back up, holding it so they couldn't see her face. "Puhuhu... Have you considered the possibility that you're mistaken about that?"
"Mistaken?" Kyoko asked with that same pained expression from before.
"Well, if I'm understanding you right...it sounds like you think The Tragedy happened a year before you arrived here!" She said.
"W-Well, yeah! I mean, like he said, we just got here a few weeks ago!" Hina argued, looking angerly at Junko.
"A few weeks ago...?" Junko asked, tilting her head slightly. "Ohh, I get it! You're saying that what happened two years ago actually happened more recently! Right?"
