Chihiro watched as the heir left, not quite knowing what to say.

There was a silence for a few moments, with neither Chihiro nor Kyoko wanting to say something. While Chihiro just stood awkwardly, the lavender haired girl was deep in thought, most likely trying to make sense of the new information she was just given. After a while, however, she spoke up.

"Chihiro, was that everything that Alter Ego deciphered?" Kyoko asked, her eyes trained on Chihiro.

"I-I think so, but I can ask him if you want," Chihiro offered, turning back towards Alter Ego as Kyoko's eyes widened ever so slightly.

Chihiro quickly typed the question to Alter Ego, with the AI responding a few seconds after.

"Actually, I think that there is something else that I forgot to tell you since I didn't want to interrupt your conversation, Master..." Alter Ego answered, something akin to embarrassment clear on his face.

Before Chihiro could type a response out, saying that it was all right, the AI started speaking again.

"I believe I may have found a clue that has to do with the mastermind. The one leading the Hope's Peak staff, the one who finalized the plan to isolate you was the Hope's Peak headmaster. So that same person may very well be the mastermind who planned all this out. And according to the files, the headmaster is a man in his late thirties. It seems possible, even likely, that he's somewhere in this school right now." Alter Ego explained, looking a bit nervous, probably at forgetting to tell this before.

"The headmaster... is in the school?" Kyoko mumbled, almost so softly that Chihiro couldn't hear it. There was a hint of something in her eyes that Chihiro couldn't quite decipher, it was almost like a mix of anger and something else. Maybe sadness? Chihiro couldn't be sure.

"W-well, maybe. We can't for sure... It might just be Monokuma, since he does call himself the headmaster..." Chihiro said in response, a bit confused at the emotion Kyoko was displaying, even if it was only a little.

It didn't seem like Kyoko heard him, as the lavender haired girl continued talking.

"No matter what it takes...I will find the headmaster. No matter the cost..." Kyoko said softly, looking at the ground with the same look in her eyes, just with more anger. One of her gloved hands was also balled up in a fist; this was the most emotion Chihiro saw Kyoko exhibit and Chihiro didn't know what to think of it.

"K-Kyoko, is everything alright?" Chihiro asked worriedly, eyes full of concern and confusion.

"I can't explain why. I just...know that I have to find him." Kyoko said, the anger now having faded and looking like her usual self again. Chihiro noted that she didn't fully answer his question.

Just as Chihiro went to comment on just that, Kyoko spoke again.

"...I'll take my leave now. You can get me again if you have found any new information," Kyoko spoke, leaving the room like Byakuya did only a few minutes prior. Chihiro couldn't help but think that despite their many differences that they were a lot alike.

Chihiro himself didn't stay long after, instead he said goodbye to Alter Ego, promising to come by soon and leaving the room, wanting to check on Taka. However, just as he left the room, he was stopped by Monokuma who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere again.

The bear looked quite angry, waving one of his paws in front of him as he spoke.

"My heart is pound-pound-pounding away... It's pounding...with anger!" Monokuma said as he faced Chihiro, who let out a quiet shriek, not expecting the anger.
