Hi guys so I've never really written one of these but I guess this probably needs an introduction.
Writing stories is kind of a vent for me and I am writing this story as someone with eupd and cptsd. The things in this story are a reflection of my experiences and are probably not easy for some people to read, so please don't read if you're sensitive to self harm, eating disorders, sexual assault and abuse, verbal and physical abuse or drug abuse.
Im also writing this as someone born in the 2000's and in the UK so I have no experience of 80's America (obviously) but am trying my hardest to keep it accurate.
This is set just before season 3, the year before the main cast join high school - 1985 I believe. There isn't much mention of the main cast or the upside down for the beginning, it will get into that tho don't worry lol.
Also this Eddie isn't necessarily completely canon as in the beginning of s4 it's suggested his character is a bit of a coward but we don't want that we want bad boy Eddie so he's baddd bc it's sexy. The friendship between Robin and Steve isn't canon compliant either as I moved it so that they started working at Scoops and became friends a year earlier than established in the show - meaning Starcourt mall was built a year earlier (I know), but they haven't had their Russian adventure yet. That will happen.
Edit: I kind of lost the love for this story there's like no interaction from anyone and I don't know if it's good or not so if u actually read it then can u atleast vote ?
