The three teens regretted "partying" the previous night as soon as the morning came. They ended up all very drunk, loudly listening to music and chatting until the early hours.

No more progress was made by Steve and Robin in regards to their plan of working out what had happened to Lana. They stopped pushing after that one conversation had finished, just wanting to have a good night.

Now, Robin and Lana sat together, finally in their last lesson of the day, still hungover and barely able to pay attention.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to go to The Hideout tonight but I honestly can't wait to get home and sleep." Robin whispered to Lana, who wasn't even bothering to lift her head up from the desk and look at the front. It was only Mr Lorrence, he wouldn't notice or even care if he did.

"Yeah I'm probably going to do the same thing." Lana quietly groaned. "I'm meant to be having drinks with Eddie tonight... but I'm so tired I might have to call it off."

Robin chuckled quietly and sent a teasing smile to Lana. "You should see him anyway, I bet he'll make you feel better."

Lana scoffed and rolled her eyes "Yeah right Robin, grow up." which only made Robin's grin widen, knowing she had gotten under her skin.

"What were you gonna do with him tonight anyway? Just sit in his room and drink more?"

Lana smiled slightly as she replied to Robin "Well yeah... what else is there to do in Hawkins?"

"True." Robin smiled back at her. "Maybe don't drink just for tonight though, save yourself for tomorrow."

"Why? What are we doing tomorrow?"

Robin scoffed. "Were you really that fucked up? We made a whole list of things to do!"

Lana groaned again and turned her face back into her desk, too tired to think about all the plans she'd signed herself up to the previous night.

"Just come mine tomorrow at 5, it's gonna be fun." Robin ordered in a hushed whisper, to which Lana groaned again.

On the bus ride home, Eddie happily plunked himself down next to Lana, who turned to him with a glare to psychically say "Why are you talking to me right now I'm trying to listen to music?" to which Eddie responded verbally "I know. I'll leave in a second. Was just wondering if you wanted to come mine tonight still?"

She did want to, whether she had the energy to was a whole different story.

Fuck it.

"Yeah I'm coming yours." She yawned. "I'll be maybe an hour."

Eddie grinned at her "Cool." and swiftly walked to the back of the bus, where his friends were waiting.

"You definitely like her." Luke teased and turned to Jamie and Gareth. "Since when does he double check with his customers?"

"Shut up." Eddie scoffed. "We were friends when we were kids you know? It's nothing like that."

"You wish it was." Jamie grinned. "Don't act like you haven't heard what Billy apparently told Chez who told Jason?"

He had heard. And it somehow got under his skin.

"I haven't heard what did he say?" Gareth asked.

"Shut up. Why would you believe anything that comes out of their mouths?" Eddie snapped at Jamie before he could answer. "With all the shit they say about us, why repeat what shit they say about someone else?"

Gareth sat back nervously, not expecting Eddie to care so much about this rumour - wether it was true or not. He was his most loyal friend, considerably more quiet than Eddie and was one of the only people who'd ever been able to calm him down once he started raging.

Luke and Jamie however, were just as loud and boisterous as Eddie, even worse than him sometimes, and had considerably less manners or respect.

Jamie smirked at Eddie's reaction, knowing that his friend most definitely cared about that weird girl more than he was letting on.

"He said that she's an insane sex-"

"Dude do you want me to beat you up?" Eddie raised his voice, making a couple of people turn their heads towards them.

"Why do you care so much? Just admit that you like her."

He couldn't. Not even to himself let alone to Jamie.

"Why do you care so much huh? Scared that I've made my move before you had a chance?" He taunted back at him, impressed at his own quick comeback.

"Ooooh he got you James!" Luke laughed, playing shoving Jamie, who had accepted defeat and decided not to press any further.

"Whatever Munson. Have fun tonight, maybe I'll pop round." He teased, to which Eddie grinned and softly kicked him.

"Yeah right, stay away from my place I don't want you stinking it up." Eddie chuckled but the thought of Jamie turning up at the trailer while Lana was there made him cringe inside.

"What you doing tomorrow night? We're thinking of getting our game on at The Hideout, it's gonna be busy." Luke turned to Eddie and Gareth.

I'm meant to be seeing Lana. I can't tell them that though.

"I'm not coming, no way." Gareth answered, prompting Jamie and Luke to start trying to persuade him to come.

There was no way they were going to convince Gareth to go, but atleast they were focused on that instead of what Eddie was doing.
