Broke or made better?

I wasn't planning on sending Uncle Donny after Eterno instead of Mary. Seems like a bad idea. In the moment I felt like that was the best choice I could make.

I feel there's a 70% chance that the uncle is full of shit and isn't going to do anything. It's not worth the risk to do nothing. I called the promoter of the Silver City show and told him that I had heard threats of violence should cancel it.

That might have worked better if I hadn't already tried to get booked and he told me to fuck off. It still probably wouldn't have worked but he clearly thought this was the most transparent "you didn't book" me revenge attempt ever.

Being the good guy that he is he told me that he would scrub the show if I paid him $15,000. There is no way he makes a third of that much for his pissant shows. He was just being a dick. I called the Silver City police and told them that a man with a criminal past had been making threats and they should shut the show down. I gave them the all the information I had about Uncle Donny.

The guy on the phone told me that in order to charge someone with assault, which is what threatening someone is, there has to be imminent danger and the person threatened has to be afraid for their life. He said that the best thing I could do is alert security for the event. I'm sure that event security, the promoter's drinking buddy in a borrowed "event" t-shirt is going to really put the clamps down.

After all that it seems wrong to just get in the car and head to the Sames Auto Arena to pretend to fight Dulce Tormenta for fifty bucks.

What else is there to do? I might have an idea.
